Pike Militia is still one of the best value low tier units, it has a stun mechanic when it gets max levelled that really means it can take on much higher tier units :)
It's more that I stood in quite an exposed spot for an extended period of time, I should have known better. But it's a super fun game to play, hence i've made it to level 290 😂
You want to improve your situational awareness you might want to use the eagle eye (Z key). You get a great overview of who is spotted and where they exactly are (on walls or just below them for example)
Do you only use Cover Commander with Imperial Spear Guard? As great as they are they still are a Spear unit and generally work better in formation I find even if sometimes it seems more convenient to just leave them on Cover Commander.

Oh so basically it represents your level. So you are grey until you hit level 60, then at 61 you turn green until around like level 180 ish then you turn blue until 360 where you turn purple and so on

@@EvoLozGaming i think i have a starter lvl 12 toon on west 1 .... but man acc lvl 338 ish is on west 2 ... i only use my hussars or chivalric knights in free plays (casue otherwise income would not cover the losses in bronze ;) as f2p) so both are still lvl 7-9 .... in hindsight i should have spend all honor unlocking more usable units like imperial spearguard (got that on my other lvl 141 toon) and whole javi tree and some others or filling some tech upgrades on other units i have. But with only room for 20 units im already filled up ;)
oh this is because you have the wrong armor type equiped. For example to use a bow you need light armor. To use poleaxe you need heavy armor. Change you armor type and you'll be able to equip the weapon :-)
the game needs new ways to get points archers are a big meta and alot of people avoid spears like the plague since they dont get you that many points like archers do
Yeah archers can be pretty deadly! But they don't really cap points, a team of spears working togeather can be an effective counter it's just not many teams tend to work togeather

currently we are capped by season level but once the season is over it goes purple after blue, then orange after purple and then 1 player I believe is even gold after the orange! no hero improvements after level 60 its just a sort of prestiege, how much you've played sort of thing

Thats a good point, I'm not sure why I don't make better use of the overview mode

@@bjorndekoninck1741 Might've been the seasonal level. I guess the coloring depends on your player level.

Oh looks like I was using imperial spear guards, they have a self heal ability (on a 60 sec cooldown)

Im on EU West 1. Yeah they are crazy strong with their charge! I'm still unfortunately such a long way off them yet though, more honor needed!

oh this is because you have the wrong armor type equiped. For example to use a bow you need light armor. To use poleaxe you need heavy armor. Change you armor type and you'll be able to equip the weapon :-)
