Looks really fun and a great experience to do. What are the different types of activities you can do in your free time there, and how much do they cost to do.
There's a quite a lot, different sanctuaries to visit, a full day safari, hot air ballooning, going up mountains, museums, etc. They're usually the equivalent of about $30, the larger ones like full day safari would be a bit more
When do you think is the best time to visit? I was thinking December because I get cold easily but I heard it’s the wet season. Would that restrict any activities?
I think December to March is the best time, wet season just means every now and there there will be a storm for half an hour. But it's warm and green, and baby season, so it's over all a lot nicer, in my opinion.

In the comments you replied saying that december to march is 'baby season' what do you mean by baby season
It's the time of year when most wild animals, zebras, giraffe, wildebeast, blesbok etc have their babies, after spring.

Im coming to do the program in September, do they still do the lion walks?
It generally depends if there are young lions who require it, you never know.
