After watching your customisation video I am turning my mind of selling my 8 year old Nano and to customize it and keep on using, as I have loads of memories wid my car and somewhere I was in dual mind selling or not selling my client but this video has changed my mind and planning to customize my car and have it for more years wid me now..

5:13 the only thing I don't like about the original Nano was how it looked from this angle (back of the car) . Perhaps this version has an improved design of the back.

I don't know how you will reply to my comments. I am a Nano lover. I am serious about my requirements.
Nano does well in any terrain. Many have made their way to Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand , Darjeeling, Sikkim & NE. The notion that it is good for crowded City roads alone is not correct. It does well in highways, and in hills. It negotiates remarkably in rough roads as it can manouvre boulders and it does not mind rough patches, potholes etc. Tata has come out with a small sized, tough vehicle. Tata need to see what Private workshops, spare part manufacturers, to the old Nanos. Tata must take the hint that many Nano lovers , and and customers want to possess a Nano. The price range if kept to 2.5 lacs or a little less will take the market by storm.
But the car may need a bigger wheel., A longer & stronger shock obsorbers, to allow a bigger tyres with suitable rim. What about the 700 cc engine; if it can be fitted in the original Nano chassis & body . The idea is to give more power & ground clearance if it can give mileage of 20 to 26 would be preferred as taxi in hills.

A suggestion. What if you were to go for a slightly bigger shock obsorbers as you have added 13" tyres along with rim.
Can't the engines be mod to about 700 cc.
These are only suggestions. I feel if this happens the hills & mountains could see Nanos as taxis besides an original Indian made Tata car . I love the Nano and I'll find a used hatchback Manual. May be you can help South seems to have lot of Nanos. I'll take your help in mod at Coimbatore.
A holiday trip for me minus cobit 19.

LX doesn't have power steering. So it's going to be very difficult to drive.
I find your style of mod superb. Is your Nano manual? If you were to sell this Nano how much will you quote ?
I drove a nano purchased 2011 and sold it in 2019. It was a base model. I fancied possessing a manual with all the features your Nano has.
I drive in the hills it performs well. I possess a Innova for commercial purposes. I am 73 and drive bike & drove maruti van, commander, jypsy, and finally a nano. I love Nano. I don't fancy EV's in hills. Hatch- back is my preference.
Can you get me used Nano exactly like yours ? IAM ready to pay about 1.5 or a little more .

Gen x body was designed to fit bigger wheels for future. For CX you need to cut some part of the bumper

Santro tyres are 155/70 R13. They will rub in the wheel arches.

I never wanted to cross 90. But even at 100 it's stable. Fuel economy not much difference. Still gives me 23kmpl at 80kmph.

I would recommend you to go for the Original Tata Black Alloys, difficult to get nowadays, but that adds a lot to Nano's looks

Hi. Loved the video. First video where Nano is considered as a full fledged car and modified. Though all mods are not to my taste but some are really worth considering.
I want to know the downsides of upgrading to 13inch wheels.
What are the practical issues he faced. Many people have advised not to change even to wider tyres....

The Gen X body was designed for 13" wheels on the future Pelican model. So no issues regarding fitment. While running, there is no issues at all. The drawbacks are really minor as I mentioned in the video. Yes, the Nano is a full fledged car and way more capable than any other mainstream FWD small car.
