Thanks for watching. Comillas doesn't accept visitors and the bay didn't look to have any protection from the swell. The next option would have been San Vincente but we wanted to push on and make the miles.
@@sailinghjem yes I was only thinking of your dog 👍 I did the same, Santander, Lastres 65m, Lusaca 65m, Ria De Viveiro 58m, La Caruna 58m. Looking good. 😀🇪🇸
The Picos de Europa are indeed stunning and a well kept secret, as is Ribadesella as a base from which to explore (Stayed at the Gran Hotel ((The big hotel to starboard as you come in)) some 30 years ago).
Sorry that our comments have dried up but it's difficult when we know where you are. You've definitely had some good experiences on the way, imagine the stories that will live with you for the rest of your life. Can't wait to find out what your doing now. All the best. (We're both enjoying the volgs)
@@johnd3352 we ended up in Rota, was absolutely lovely. Although our week in the Cadiz area had awful weather so we couldn’t see as much as we would have liked!
Good to see those sails out.
@@ooweesaler Amen to that!
Looks amazing. Might get there one day.
Northern Spain is stunning but the swell is 🤢
Can’t believe you bypassed Comillas. There are so many 30 mile hops. 😀👍🇪🇸

Cheers. Viveiro and Coruña were also on our itinerary. Great places.
@ if you’re looking for a fantastic place to winter, I’d recommend Cartagena. There’s a festival every week. 👍🇪🇸
@@robertmoreland2638 alas we wish we could winter in Spain, but unfortunately…. brexit 😭

@@brentharrison5952 great to hear from you both and hope you’re both well !!
Recomend 2 or 3 days in Porto. Lovely city and great food. Visit the covered market. Makes the Grainger market look shabby!
@@johnd3352 loved the place very much!
TIME for a decent MICROPHONE.

Bugger off. Thank you.
Thinking about it I'm not sure what the time lag is on these videos so just in case you are already past Porto, try Cadiz/Jerez!
