At the time they were only about 14 so she got a lot of heat from it, and apparently Mandy distanced herself from her so she wouldn't get backlash either/have people think she was doing that stuff too. They just drifted apart after that. I didn't want to bring it up because it was so long ago and now that they are older it isn't that big of a deal anymore aha.
theyre civil with each other now though they like each others insta pics all the time and they have a bunch of mutual friends so they see each other at parties occasionally

Most people believe that when the images came out of mainly Maddi smoking/drinking (Amanda was there too, it was at her house a lot of the time), Amanda's parents didn't allow her to hang out with Maddi because she was a "bad influence."

OMG Yes I do remember those videos. I started watching you in 2014, so I was 14. I'm Spanish and usually girls don't start doing their makeup til 16 or 17, so I was really impressed that you had been doing your makeup since you were 10/11. I was so jealous bc my mum didn't let me use makeup. I was so jealous too bc I thought you were so beautiful and skinny I was really really admired you. I wasn't very good at English then and your videos were one of the reasons that motivated me to learn English and to open a RUclips channel years later (not this one). Anyway, I suffered from depression and a TCA since I was 13 til I was 16. I watched your videos through all the journey and you always inspired me a lot. I've learnt to believe in me and to love myself just the way I am, I'm happy now and you're still a huge inspiration and motivation to me. I REMEMBER ALL OF THESE VIDEOS!!!! i literally found you in 2013 through the janoskians and have religiously watched you ever since then. i'm a year younger than you and when i was 13 YOU were the reason my makeup obsession started, you taught me so much literally all i needed to know!!! looking at all of these videos brings back such good memories for me, i remember being a freshman in high school coming home and watching your videos for hours, over and over. you seriously are the reason i got so into makeup and i thank you so much! i still love watching your videos and im so proud of how far you've come :') mbm24 forever:)))))

Oh my goodness Amanda! We are the same age and I watched your high school make up tutorial right before my freshman year... I am a senior now! Time has flown and you have always felt like a sister for me, even when my real family life was unstable. It sucks that you got hate even when you were 10, but people will always be jealous of your greatness I guess.

Carter Something about Maddi taking drug or smoking when they were younger so they stop hanging out together.. But this is not a sure thing, I just remember reading that on ytb a lot when they stop talking to each other.
Most people believe that when the images came out of mainly Maddi smoking/drinking (Amanda was there too, it was at her house a lot of the time), Amanda's parents didn't allow her to hang out with Maddi because she was a "bad influence."
It's nice to see how we grow up from when we're younger. I love how you can see the confidence we gain as we find ourselves, our style and our personality!

OMG Yes I do remember those videos. I started watching you in 2014, so I was 14. I'm Spanish and usually girls don't start doing their makeup til 16 or 17, so I was really impressed that you had been doing your makeup since you were 10/11. I was so jealous bc my mum didn't let me use makeup. I was so jealous too bc I thought you were so beautiful and skinny I was really really admired you. I wasn't very good at English then and your videos were one of the reasons that motivated me to learn English and to open a RUclips channel years later (not this one).
Anyway, I suffered from depression and a TCA since I was 13 til I was 16. I watched your videos through all the journey and you always inspired me a lot. I've learnt to believe in me and to love myself just the way I am, I'm happy now and you're still a huge inspiration and motivation to me. Thank you for everything you've done, and good luck with all the good things and projects that I'm sure will happen to you, you're amazing
