Full Sonic Movie 3 Cast Officially Revealed! - Rouge, Maria Robotnik & More New Characters!

- Sonic Movie 3 news won't stop! Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will also see the additions of Krysten Ritter, Alyla Browne, James Wolk, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, and Jorma Taccone to its cast. This comes just hours following the news that Jim Carrey will return as Dr. Robotnik. While we still don't yet know who these newcomers will be playing, we do know they will join returning cast members Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Lee Majdoub, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Tom Butler, James Marsden, and Tika Sumpter. The new cast is led by Krysten Ritter. As for who she plays in Sonic 3, rumors are swirling that she may be the perfect candidate for Rouge the Bat. In regards to Alyla Browne's role, there is a decent chance she plays Sonic Adventure 2's Maria. This is made even more believable when you take into consideration that Shadow the Hedgehog looks to be the biggest new addition to the film, and the recently revealed logo is an homage to Sonic Adventure 2. Nah. The Knuckles show will get a trailer and release date at the Super Bowl. We'll get the episodes through the weeks leading to the end of spring. Then, the first actual trailer for Sonic 3 will debut at the Sonic Central in June, and that where we'll learn who voices Shadow.

@@TheDudeSama Nah. While I don't disagree we'll get Knuckles revealed, if anything they're gonna want a big event to reveal the voice of Shadow. Has to be a big name if they're still withholding who's essentially the film's deuteragonist.

I’m super proud to be a Sonic fan! I literally say this every year but I’m always proud to be a Sonic fan! Shadow really deserves his time to shine considering how the character has changed over the years from going to a really deeply developed character with an amazing redemption arc to a one dimensional “Edge lord” to slowly coming back to the Shadow we all know and love! I’m hoping Silver gets his own comeback! He deserves it as well!

That Alaya Browne girl is 100% playing as Maria Robotnik. She's underage, white, has blonde hair, and has blue eyes. I am willing to bet my own life that she's going to be confirmed as the actor for Maria.

it makes sense Sonic 3 has a big cast cause its kinda based on SA2, and that included so many characters and such a wild story for the franchise with interconnecting pieces.

I hope the movie isn’t too loaded with sonic characters. One of the best parts of the first movie was the human character dynamic which also happened to be the worst part of the second movie. The humans are integral to the plot in SA2 so it shouldn’t be loaded with too many cgi characters. Also very excited to see the friendly dynamic between robitnik and Sonic! The leaks strongly suggested Jim Carrey coming back and it turned out to be true. Carrey said in interviews he would consider coming out of retirement if the script was given to him with golden ink and had an important message for everyone so I think it’s safe to say this will be a VERY hype movie.

Amy, maybe Big, The Chaotix, and Rouge oare the most likely sonic characters to be introduced. I really doubt we’ll be getting Blaze or Silver in this movie.
Blaze and Silver have complex backstories that could be the focus of a Movie or show on their own.
I feel it would be best to introduce the Chaotix in the Knuckles series before appearing in the films. It makes more sense to me cause of Knuckles Chaotix.

Cristo I believe will either be a human character, or Nack the Weasel, or maybe he could be Big the Cat.

Now if the Chaotix do appear in this movie I believe Wolk could be Espio, Jorma could be Vector, Ayla or Sofia could be Charmy, and Cristo could be Mighty.

I'm going to say, since Sonic 3 may be the last movie (hopefully not but possible) and they do not want to focus on human characters as much in 1 and 2, the characters I think could appear in this film is amy rose, rouge, big (possibly), and maybe Charmy, Espio and Vector (?). Im not sure, maybe this will be like a whole MCU scene where all the characters fight together in the end and it is this whole thing, but that may be a bit too crazy as I still think movie 4 will probably happen. If anything, Silver or Blaze (or both) will be in the post credit scene. What do you all think?
We still need Sonic X version in Sonic three movie this year though.

Awesome time to be a Sonic fan and now Rouge and Maria is going to be in the Sonic 3 Movie. This has a Sonic Adventure 2 vibes to it and I am so excited.
I think that Rouge and Amy are locks to be in the movie considering the Sonic Adventure 2 story. There were mentions by the writers that they also wanted Big The Cat in the 1st and 2nd movie so I could seen him having some role. Not to mention my hope for a post credit scene with maybe Silver. So it is totally possible they might need 4 voice actors here.

I don't think they have Blaze, Silver or Amy in the third movie.
All three of them have 'baggage' that would take away from Shadow's, or they raise questions as why their there and time travel (lore wise nod to Silver and Amy) would be a pain to do well. Although you could get a joke about a why Amy is clingy towards Sonic or why Silver is passive aggressive towards Sonic and Knuckles.
Granted, their would be aways of having them there but not outright confirming them
For example, Silver or Amy being a voice in a box dropping hints. With the mid credit scene being their reveal to viewers.

So cool everyone’s coming back and the cast is even bigger. I’ve always thought maybe we’ll get every character from SA 2. I’ve seen Krysten in a lot of shows and she could pull off Amy or Rouge, Sofia has different accents in what I’ve seen her so also either Amy or rouge. Hoping Hayden or Pattison voice Shadow. Not sure who the others could play maybe their just humans but who knows. I mean we got 2 new characters in the last movie and this one’s the end of a trilogy so possibly 4 my bet Shadow Rouge Amy and Big. Im gonna keep my expectations low but I’m hyped. 😁
I heard that the sonic 3 film will be inspired by the video games Sonic Adventure 2 (2001) and Shadow the Hedgehog (2005). After i heard that i just hoping that Amy, Rouge and Cream will appaer too.

I was listening to the actress’s voices and Kristin Ritter sounds more like Amy Rose than Rouge the Bat. The other actress, Sofia Pernas sounds more like someone that would play Rouge and definitely not Amy.
Ok here is my movie theory based on the excessive addition of voice actors:
In short they will do a Sonic X season 1 type chaos incident where Eggman screws with chaos control and it causes a dimensional transfer of the other sonic characters. Either before or after this chaos incident Eggman will have found the tape of Project Shadow and then it’s sa2/sonic x live action with the humans in fear of the global influx of “unfamiliar talking animals”😂
My guess is half of them may play gun agents
I’m very nervous for the Mariah scene. I hope they don’t make it too dark since kids will be watching…😬
I wonder if Melody Nosipho Niemann will come back as JoJo, because I feel that character could be pivotal in redeeming shadow in the end of the movie and let’s face it that would also mean the return of Natasha Rothwell as Rachel and we want more of her.
As for Krysten Ritter, I know the majority and obvious choice would be she’s Rouge, but unless the Knuckles series find a way to introduce more anthro characters into Earth, Krysten’s most likely gonna be Topaz from the Sonic X anime (who frequently partners with Rouge).
Cristo Fernadez, if his energy is as high as you say, he could be Mighty or maybe even Fang to help Robotnik and Shadow get the Emeralds
Now either James Wolk or Jorma Taccone will be Gerald Robotnik the man driven insane after the death of Maria and the other might end up being Black Doom who leads the alien army and gives reason to have the shadow spin off

I guess it was inevitable that they would get an actual child actor to play Maria. Still, I hope Alyla Browne has a decent future. We don't want her to end up like Jake Lloyd.
