It would be so cool to have a real life tavern with this kind of music where people could like drink and eat and play games like gwent and magic casually or hop into a game of D&D for a couple hours...I want a tavern now too

    • @Caildyn
      @Caildyn 5 лет назад +73

I want one as well, but i'd start it myself if i could. With furniture made from Barrels and Wood, a fire pit to grill some meat or to make soup in a big cauldron, a big wood fired oven to offer fresh bread every day and optional live music in the guest room. Or a pirate themed one near the harbour in the city where i live. Where customers in costumes may walk the plank for a free beer in summer once a day, or when it's cooler and dark early, like in late fall they may jump over a fire pit in the Yard to earn a free pint of Grog once per evening and hungry lads and lasses are served dishes that would fit a sailors taste.
I'd even sew authentical costumes for my employees.
And of course there'd be tables for people who want to play an p&p in a fitting atmosphere! Maybe I would even add some rooms for guests to stay over night.
In both taverns customers purchase coins at the entrance which they may use to pay for a drink or some food, keep them as a souvenir, or use them the next time they come around.
As you see. i gave that some serious thought already xD only problem is i don't have enough money to start one of these and you'll Need a LOT of paperwork done in Germany for that...
I'd even already know where to get the amounts of mead needed, since there's a beemaster living in the area who's producing and selling on many medieval markets. Though i'd love to have my own bee hives to produce honey to sell and make mead myself, mix it with fruit juices or spices... that would be fun :D And there's a lot of breweries in the area as well so beer would be no problem as well. xD Maybe i'd even offer home made fruit wine or stuff like that.

Jeffrey M what? How dare u compare Witcher where u have a character that is SET, with only 1 type of weapons u can use(two if u count crossbow, but come ooooooone who uses them?), a limited world, way less worked out lore, and no shit to do without quest, to Skyrim where u can be anybody u want or play the role of the hero in shining armor by playing the story, the different outfits and weapons u can, the different fighting techniques, with all those side quest lines, cities, a finished world with borders better than «u cannot go there since there are.... ummm.. dragons! Even though they where never mentioned earlier and don’t fit the lore!” Like come on u can’t fight and kill people in the game, people do and say the same things every time u pass. And at the same time there is nothing to do in the world. Witcher 3 is good but Skyrim my man is PERFECT 👌)))))

I've been using this track for one specific tavern in my DnD campaign for almost two years. the campaign took a good break and they were not in the town where this tavern was located for awhile. they came back and visited, and when they walked in to speak to the tavernowner, they were all put into a peaceful silence listening to this playlist once more. we all raised our glasses and drank many a cup of soda, tea, and other such beverages as this playlist ran through once more.
Thank you. you've made one of my favoritely-designed locations in my D&D world so much more iconic to my players. This event happened three months ago. Now, they talk about how they miss the sounds of Richard's tavern, The Varied Mead, of the town of Lindelt.
My campaign is going through a re-run, and these players love it as much as the last ones. I hope you never take this video down, for my homebrew world never again be the same, if these tracks were absent from Richard's halls.
Here's to another long run of my D&D world, and I raise a mug of ale to you, Skooma Scamp, you are my unknowing hero of Tavern Ambience!

Listening to this makes me feel at home. Drinking my coffee while listening to this makes me feel like I'm at a Tavern drinking a nice beverage. Whether it be beer or it may be coffee itself, still a nice beverage. And suddenly I turn into a traveler, whether it be a pirate or it be a merchant or a young warlock out for a stone of magic. Sitting here as my buds dance around the table locking arms and singing, or sitting at the table with me telling ol' folks tales. We raise our cups and yell "Cheers!" As our wooden pints hit the ends of one another. Shall our journey be continued, and as lovely as it was before we got to this Tavern.

She watched the flame flicker as she counted the seconds. "-4, 3, 2 , 1""A PINT OF GINGER ALE FOR ALL THE PATROLKNIGHTS!" A bearded man roared as he banged the doors of the Tavern. Many started to pour into the Tavern. Music mixed with yells and roars of laughter. One of the most beautiful symphonies in the world. ___________________________________I just suddenly thought of this XD. I loved the celtic music. I really want to be the Innkeepers daughter. WHY? Dear lord this good'ol tavern looks super cozy.
Finding a good comfortable spot with these woolen/fleece blankets. Having a tasty homemade non-alcoholic brew and some delicious fresh-warm food served by a jolly bearded tavernkeeper.
All the while listening to relaxing tavern music in the background, and doing cardgame/boardgame activities with several like-minded peers.
And then there would be a number of different people inside the tavern, from different races like wizards, elves, humans, halflings, orcs, demons and the like.
Plus there would be people coming and going, having new stories to tell from their adventures. Have a seat my friend and listen!

While playing. It was an immeasurable peace where I had the complete freedom to imagine a fantasy world in my mind and be trapped in it for hours on end. I'm not going to lie, I still do that sometimes. what do I mean if fact is, are we truly free?

@@bobsan5804 BG II was awesome!! But here's the funny thing: I get the most memorable and emotional feeling with BG I. Don't get me wrong! SoA is a great game, but in BG I, the environment, the plot, the storyline, the dialogs, the city, little towns, random encounters everywhere... is just pure magic.

Listening to this while drawing maps for the next campaign is really inspiring.

If you listen to this while studying
    You will:
    1. Feel like you are researching for a quest
    2. If you start crying because of your quest, its like you're crying on an ✨adventure✨
    Corpse sent me🙂
