How to easily move files between Google Drive and One Drive on your Chromebook

  • It's hard to believe about ten years ago many of us were not using cloud storage. Fast forward to today and most of us use cloud storage on a daily basis.
    Cloud storage is a much safer option than having your files stored locally. You don't need to worry about losing your computer, as you can easily access all your files in the cloud. It also removes the issue of having to worry about backing up your files, as cloud storage is pretty reliable.
    If you use a Chromebook you most likely use Google Drive, but One Drive by Microsoft is another cloud storage option available. If you use Microsoft 365 office apps on your ChromeOS computer such as Word and Excel, then you're already most likely using OneDrive.
    This means we now have two cloud storage solutions, which certainly isn't a bad thing. However, until recently moving files from Google Drive to One Drive and vice versa on your Chromebook was a clunky process.
    In this video, I will go through the different ways you can now easily move files from Google Drive to One Drive or files from One Drive to Google Drive on ChromeOS.
