Im a lifelong Bears fan. Broke my heart to see Fields go. But I’m glad he went to Pittsburgh. And wherever he is next year I hope he’s the undisputed starter.
In his last start the Steelers scored 32. The offense was starting to work as a unit. JF did all the dirty work while they struggled with penalties, bad blocking, Harris averaging 2.5 yards per carry, multiple drops balls including two or 3 in the end zone by Pickens. Yet they were winning. Right when the offense was starting to mesh they put in Russ to steal the glory. JF was a couple of plays away from starting 6-0. As it stands in his last 12 starts he is 8-4. I don’t understand the people who focus on the one bad pass amongst his constant highlights . It’s really weird. Chicago sports media drove this kid out of town right when he was starting to win. I remember 670 the score, a Chicago sports radio program, David Haugh, after JF scored 37 stated he was not convinced and the Bears should draft CW. The bears won 7 games in 2023. They got off to a slow start much like the Steelers offense. The finished the season 4 and 2 and we’re gaining momentum. This year they barely won 5 games and significantly regressed. Maybe Tomlin owes something to Russ. I don’t get it.
Another casual looking at the final score and coming up with a narrative. The offense had 293 yards of total offense in that game. Fields 14-24 with 145 yards passing. The defense set the offense up in scoring position multiple times. The week before against a completely depleted Cowboys defense we manage a whopping 226 yards of offense with Fields throwing for an amazing 131 yards. Go watch a lowlight video once in a while instead of putting on your blinders and focusing on the good
@@JW0143 At least when he's not passing for 250 yards he's making up for it by running. Russ just put up 148 yards and 17 points against the Bengals. For 4 straight weeks he's been pure garbage. @@Noef3hn Literally nobody said that. Just pointing out that nobody should ever take a highlight reel seriously. Fields stunk it up at times just like Russ is now
We should mix it up. And not put fields in on obvious run plays. But at the least once we get in the red zone wilson is on the bench and fields is in the game.
I agree in my opinion it was a failed experiment because of the redundant flaws in Russ's game. Immediately after the last game against the Bengals should have been a QB change. Averaging 5 to 6 sacks a game as well as 4 to 5 three and outs for a 4 game stretch will averaging 7 or 8 more passing attempt is killing the offense. I'm a big fan of Russ's game but we lack the Oline talent that will allow russ to sit in the pocket for 4 to 5 seconds a snap then hoist the ball up the sideline. The RPO is trash to because teams would rather a 36 year old guy to take off running so teams fill the box and play the deep ball with zone under it.
@@mauriceaucoin1368 Russ also making big time bone head plays like that pick 6 or fumbling inside the 5 yard line when he should have slid. Also not getting his ass out of bounds at the end of the last game in Cincy

Some knucklehead said he can't throw the long ball and the rest of you toads just repeat it. JF can't see the filed nor make a decision. He's also hurt often. Each year for over three games. That will get worse
@ well the issue with fields is that the deep ball when needed isn’t there yet. I think his playing style is a more pick em apart kind of offense. The problem is the playbook doesn’t match his style of play. I think with time he could possibly be one of the greatest QBs sense Ben Roethlisberger, but even better. They should start him next season and run Russ as a back up if Russ wants to stay. I’m pretty sure Russ would most likely want to be traded where can have a starting position. If that’s the case we need to trade him for a better draft pick so we can pick up a better O line
That's something a lot of people don't seem to ever mention. How much chaos there was on the OLine in the beginning of the year with guys injured and a couple of rookie OLinemen starting their first games. By the time Russ came in they had gotten enough playing time to start to gel, and it doesn't hurt they played some sorry-ass teams the first few games Russ started.

I don't care who starts this Saturday because I had the Ravens winning the Super Bowl way before the season started, and that's still my take. As far as the future goes yes I would love for Fields to stay with the Steelers long-term. I also want Mike Tomlin as the head coach of the Steelers long-term regardless of a win/loss this week.
I get it’s just highlights but Russ can’t see over the linemen to use the middle. I think justin still has room to grow and I’m willing to ride with that over russ
With fields in the defense have to worry about their assignments and keep an eye on him. The line failed a few times and Fields improvised and still got positive yards. Russ can only lob the ball in hopes of Pickens making a circus catch. Fields spread the ball around everyone was involved
I don’t know why the Steelers didn’t want to grow with that.. he looks like a made up all madden character on PS5 Steelers made a mistake .. I like Russ but not for that offensive line fields can cover up a bad line .. his missed a few Throws but I’m growing with the 25 yr old vs the 36 yr old .. fields can be dynamic that’s why authur smith wanted to stay with him…Mike Tomlin was the only 1 screaming Russ cause of the super bowls just like Aaron Rodger,Kurt cousins and Russell Wilson ship has sailed in going with fields if it’s me.. ravens would be Leary dropping 8 in the box…

@@PatriotWatchUSA Winners don't need to come back. You would know that if you were ever a winner. He did come back in the 4th quarter against Dallas. The defense didn't hold. Again, you would know that but you don't.
This is why I didn’t want Russ to start…not because I think fields reads the defense better or is a better passer of the football but because the offense is more dynamic and unpredictable with him at Qb and he uses the middle of the field cause his height allows him to see over the line , he’s also been a accurate down field passer under Arthur Smith, Russ holds the ball longer and doesn’t take too many chances across the middle with his height and isn’t able to evade pressure like fields especially with the injuries to this oline
Pit has them a 💎 there ready to prove himself, if they miss on this this will be a lifetime fumble 😂 top 5 running qb and top 10 throwing qb with deep be accuracy and that’s a fact. You give him weapons and an oline he’ll give you the stats that people so desperately care about these days but mostly important he will win big games, the very reason pit never wins as of late in the playoffs
Was never a fan of benching Fields. Haven’t been impressed with Russel Wilson. Justin Fields deserves to be QB1. People say Justin Fields can’t throw deep balls but look at all the highlights, dudes making plays Wilson can’t do due to mobility
The Ravens didn't need to develop Lamar. Lamar was a star right away and went to the playoffs right away. Nice try with the "development" thing. The most over rated word in football
We should keep him as a starter. But Magic Mike need a „spark" that burns as long as the other teams had enough tape. And Dumblin and A.Smith with their 80`s concepts have no answer. I mean, before the Bengals game they had 10 days to make a gameplan. And here we are again. Sunday is our last season game. P.S. If Fields is smart he goes to a modern NFL team after the season. Under Dumblin he will be done in 2 or 3 seasons.
I pray that the reason they sat him was to prepare him for 2025 season and to not give up a 4th round pick to the bears. Now that the regular season is over hopefully he can get the QB1 spot he earned or at least they plan to resign him in the off-season as the QB1 for 2025.

Justin Fields is the Steelers QB and i hope the next head coah of the Steelers gives him the QB 1 title. Russell Wilson needs to retire he's washed.
He should be starting. Russ played good vs 1 good team, 1-6 games v good teams he played good. We’re bottom 3 in 1st downs with Russ so defense is on the field a lot getting wore down. Fields literally can’t do no worse
everyone saying that that offense looks so much better has completely forgotten that this group averaged 17 pts per game, and averaged a 3-n-out 8 times a game.
In all reality, neither Russ or Fields is the answer at QB. Just two guys distracting the Steelers from realizing they can't keep getting cheap at the NFL's most important position. Swing for the fence in the draft and accept the chance that you could miss, because these average guys stop the team from being anything other than .500 teams or unserious wild-card teams.

Same man. I miss this guy I'm Chicago
@@PatriotWatchUSA seriously, as long as he’s there I’m a (casual) Steelers fan . Hope he takes y’all to a few superbowls 👍
We need him back.
great vid😎
Almost nobody is acting like Justin Fields is a top 5 QB, but even the numbers alone show Fields has been better this season. I'd rather win 2/3 games and lose by 3 than get embarrassed by every decent team down 2 scores.
@@clux5305 I'm not defending Russ at all but we certainly haven't lost to every decent team we've played with him. He's been bad lately though no doubt
@@JW0143 He should be playing over Russ. There are teams that would fire their head coach if they ended a season like that (not saying they should) and the Steelers won't even bench a QB for another one with a winning record.
defense gave up 27 points then gave up 21 to the cowboys and couldn't get a stop at the end
This is my quarterback
Good luck in the 2026 draft
Please start Fields this Saturday and bring him back next year
If he starts this week you might not want him next year.
Damn good video !! This guy was exciting…… I think we have a coaching problem😮
If they don’t resign him I’m done with this team 😢
The Steelers had the lead late in the dallas game 17-13 with 4:40 to play that loss is not on Justin Fields thats the defense fault.
I'm tellin' ya right now, if we don't start Fields or heavily utilize him, we're easily lookin' at a Ravens 35-13 blowout!
Atleast with Fields we have a punchers chance with his mobility & ability to throw on the run!
Sorry Russ, love ya man, but time to go!
--coming from a die-hard Steeler fan ...just keepin' it real!
Who's Justin Fields? Is this a new player for the Steelers? Does the coaching staff know about this guy?
Know what about him?
If fields was still in we are at a minimum 11-6 and improving. Russ is so washed
AGREE!
If fields started the Steelers would Proably be 12-5 or 13-4
You meant 9-8 or 8-9. We know he wouldn't of won any of the last four. Heck hes been hurt the last four weeks.
How do you watch this and say 36 year old Russell Wilson is the better choice
Well genius because it's a highlight reel. I could put together a 10 minute 2024 Wilson highlight reel that would make it look like he was 27 again but we know better. Some people are easily manipulated
@@JW0143 please let me a see a Russell 10 min highlight of just checkdowns and deep balls
let me see all those passes to the middle of the field
you gotta be a moron to think Russ gives us a better chance at this point.
@@Noef3hn Literally nobody said that. Just pointing out that nobody should ever take a highlight reel seriously. Fields stunk it up at times just like Russ is now
Keep Fields as QB1 next year.

Justin Fields against the cowboys and colts really impressed me. I just wished that the defense was able to hold on for a little while 😪

The tape don’t lie
Tape doesn't, highlight reels do
What JWO said
Fields is better than Russ for the Steelers
Yeah he terrible
@@perryellis1423 Fields is on the bench for a reason
We should mix it up. And not put fields in on obvious run plays. But at the least once we get in the red zone wilson is on the bench and fields is in the game.
They should make you coach
@@PatriotWatchUSA No, but they are "NFL" Pro Coaches who should have though of special packages. But no, Tomlin is a genius!
@@Danoie67 I'm sure they have thought and practice special packages the problem is JF has been hurt the last few weeks like he always is.
Benching him was a mistake....
Agrred!
Benching him got you in the playoffs
@@mauriceaucoin1368 Russ also making big time bone head plays like that pick 6 or fumbling inside the 5 yard line when he should have slid. Also not getting his ass out of bounds at the end of the last game in Cincy
This video is refreshing. Crazy thing is this is with limited a playbook due to them playing it safe with him.
Did you watch the games? He had a limited play book for a reason.
Offense looks better under fields. Much more explosive and unpredictable. And for all the he can’t throw the long ball. He definitely got a lot of film doing it in here
Some knucklehead said he can't throw the long ball and the rest of you toads just repeat it. JF can't see the filed nor make a decision. He's also hurt often. Each year for over three games. That will get worse
I would start fields
He never should have been benched to begin with
@ well the issue with fields is that the deep ball when needed isn’t there yet.
@@PatriotWatchUSA37 replies, minus 100000 aura, 2/10 rage bait
Offense is night and day compared to now
Yes it looks a lot differnt when you play play-off teams. The teams playing the best at the end of the year. The Steelers have been exposed.
@@PatriotWatchUSA play calling is night and day is what I meant you clown
He can exacoe pressure and is 1000x better in the reszone. They need to resign him and give him a full season. Im ober the russ era
And the line was just in such flux at the time he moves in the pocket so much better
We need a deshon Elliot one bro
Great reminder that Steelers beat both Broncos & Chargers (playoff teams) with JF
Broncos week 2 against rookie QB in his second NFL game and you barely won. BRAVO. Oh Charges in their third game with new head coach, coaching staff and scheme. SUPER IMPRESSSED> Wooooooooooooooow JF is the best. Verse Denver 157 yards passing NO TD. 27 yards RUSHING. WOW If they played them again they would give the Steelers a beating
@@PatriotWatchUSA or maybe they wouldn't make any difference at all. The only consistent factor here is you being an asshat.

Can’t wait till he’s our full time QB1 starting next year. It’s still the Russ show. But once this seasons done it’s JF2 time for takeoff 🛫 💯
lol Its going to be great. Another year of I told you so
I miss these days man. Makes me think Tomlin is allergic to explosive offenses. Fields QB1 2025 🔥🔥
We gotta put in fields to beat the ravens it’s a must
They need to put fields in durning the playoffs.
He can throw in the middle of the Feild better than Russel
I'm so bored
I get it’s just highlights but Russ can’t see over the linemen to use the middle. I think justin still has room to grow and I’m willing to ride with that over russ
He's taller than Russ and more built to play Steelers football 🏈 than Russ at this stage
With fields in the defense have to worry about their assignments and keep an eye on him. The line failed a few times and Fields improvised and still got positive yards. Russ can only lob the ball in hopes of Pickens making a circus catch. Fields spread the ball around everyone was involved
@@perryellis1423 Whats Steeler football. RUN? lol You folks are slow and will never learn
I'd love to see him stay with the Steelers
I prefere this offense on the field.
Start Justin Fields AGAIN
Look how different the play calling looks.
Sign JF + get him some weapons and we money bro
Fields beat falcons bronco chargers
Russ beat ravens commanders and bengals
Fields beat more playoff teams and the 2 loses he drove gave Pitt the lead in the 4th also he didn’t even get to build chemistry with the OC shoulda kept fields in the whole season and traded Russ at the deadline to a needy team
Fields beat a bad Broncos and Charge team who you crapping? They could never beat them now. Not a chance. Why bring up Atlanta? They aren't a play-off team. See how you Justinsexuals twist things? Its dishonest. Atlanta sucked. They were 8-9.
I told everyone Fields would be the better QB for our team why can’t the coaches see that 🤦♂️
Because you were wrong. That easy.
last 2 mins in game i'm taking Fields lol
Howmany 4th quarter come backs has he had in four years.?
@@PatriotWatchUSA Winners don't need to come back. You would know that if you were ever a winner. He did come back in the 4th quarter against Dallas. The defense didn't hold. Again, you would know that but you don't.
@@jtfike lol WEAK my brother. A come back for the win doesn't leave time on the clock. You'd know that if you weren't a toad
Some of the throws are a little off...but the variety of plays and were thr ball was going...much better
Fields be picking up the blitz well ???
lol
Pit has them a 💎 there ready to prove himself, if they miss on this this will be a lifetime fumble 😂 top 5 running qb and top 10 throwing qb with deep be accuracy and that’s a fact. You give him weapons and an oline he’ll give you the stats that people so desperately care about these days but mostly important he will win big games, the very reason pit never wins as of late in the playoffs
Somebody show this to Mike Tomlin hard headed ass. Smh he need to be in the game coach!
The offense looks a lot faster with him than Russ.
"faster" lol
Even tho Fields decision making was hit or miss at times he atleast used the middle of the field and could escape pressure with his running ability
while still getting sacked 16X in six games. Yeah he great
@@PatriotWatchUSAwhat are you supposed to do with this offensive line? 😅
Was never a fan of benching Fields. Haven’t been impressed with Russel Wilson. Justin Fields deserves to be QB1. People say Justin Fields can’t throw deep balls but look at all the highlights, dudes making plays Wilson can’t do due to mobility
And don’t forget the perfect deep balls that were negated by penalties
I pray we keep fields sometimes just having the best athlete matters the ravens developed Lamar i don’t understand why we can’t do the same for Justin
The Ravens didn't need to develop Lamar. Lamar was a star right away and went to the playoffs right away. Nice try with the "development" thing. The most over rated word in football
nga made a justin fields running comp loool
Now that the regular season is over hopefully he can get the QB1 spot he earned or at least they plan to resign him in the off-season as the QB1 for 2025.
people keep saying it’s are OC is the problem he might not be the best but I wish we would go out and get a top OC but I’m ngl I really don’t think it’s him to be honest I really think it’s Russ
the offense vibe with Justin Fields hit a lil different !!
Yes it was worse. Skill players not liking life with JF
Mike Tomlin is a complete idiot for benching Justin Fields for Russell Wilson and now Mike Tomlin is about to be one and done and fired from the Steelers job because he made a promise to his homeboy Russell Wilson. Justin Fields is the Steelers QB and i hope the next head coah of the Steelers gives him the QB 1 title. Russell Wilson needs to retire he's washed.
Nonsense! If JF was better he''d be playing. You sound silly
We still average that😂😂
Steelers 2025 starter
In all reality, neither Russ or Fields is the answer at QB. Just two guys distracting the Steelers from realizing they can't keep getting cheap at the NFL's most important position. Swing for the fence in the draft and accept the chance that you could miss, because these average guys stop the team from being anything other than .500 teams or unserious wild-card teams.
when jalen runs “hes a RB” litteraly anyone else “great moblie Qb”
You mean to tell me this guy got benched for a shitty Russell Wilson
4-2 or 6-5?
i’m not gonna lie i’m taking 4-2. the games we lost weren’t on fields but for 6-5 russ made obvious mistakes and got sacked way too many times while losing on an average of 12 points while fields lost on an average of 2
