In a world full of chaos and craziness, your videos show that there is still love, kindness, community and a sense of normalcy to be had. You do such a wonderful job with your videos showing possibilities and adventures plus useful information. Safe travels and thanks for sharing 😊
Trish I am so inspired by your honesty with your challenges and successful soloing! I recently lost my husband to cancer and I am determined to keep going on our grand adventures! We got this!!🤗
I am a solo traveler with a Basecamp 20X and believe me things I use to worry or goover in my head are easy peasy now. Now it is harder stuff like taking out the rig after a service appointment and get weird electrical stuff happening (I have solar) and so I got a campsite with hookups and I figured it out. The service tech didn't put my switches on after they were done. Great learning lesson for sure. WE CAN DO HARD THINGS, DON'T FORGET IT...EVER. HEADING TO ALUMNAPOOLZA in Jackson Center tomorrow. I love this video great job all around
This has been such an uplifting and entertaining video series. Thanks for taking us along and well done to all of you. Loved Winston and his sweet, kind attitude.
Shout out to the Big Orange Vol Fan from Cleveland, TN, who survived a fall and hospital visit and returned to RAGBRAI! Thanks for bringing us another great episode of your adventures.
Glad that you enjoyed our state! I've done Ragbrai for the last 13 years, and you did a great job of capturing the atmosphere. I'd complain about you not "tenting" it all week, but that would just expose my jealousy! Safe travels.
I have been looking forward to seeing this video ever since Cary told me it was upcoming in June. I took a trip from Seattle to Necedah with my 16 year old daughter. Needed a roof rack added for my iKamper. Had many upgrades a bit of maintenance done while I was there. Many conversations with Cary and a few with Craig. What a great pair they are and a fantastic crew they have building these works of functional art. Almost 4,000 miles and the 2 days we spent at Camp-Inn in the “Teardrop Campground” were some of the best times we had. Lifelong memories made on this trip with my not so little girl. Can’t say enough about the owners and the crew and the hospitality we were shown while they brought my 560 Ultra back to better than new! Reasonable and fair on everything they did. I love my Camp-Inn. Great video Drew, I look forward to the rest of your footage with the good folks at CI.
Everyone thinks Iowa is flat. It is not! It is full of rolling hills. This video really shows off the state, its not just for flying over! Its a beautiful place with beautiful people.
Trish, Sag Extraordinaire!!! Unbelievable!!!!!! What great coverage!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing! Now I'm all excited about the possibility of doing this event! @MileHighBeach planted the seed, and your RUclips may have pushed me over the edge!! Keep doing the "Hard Yards!" ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Breaks! ::: 🚌🚌🚌
Oh my what an episode! This is one where we gathered the family together and restarted just to so we could be reminded that indeed through Christ we can endure all things. Winston was inspiring on so many levels. Thank you for sharing and letting us get a glimpse of what a life in Christ can look like, full of joy, compassion and endurance. Just an all around beautiful couple of videos. Places can inspiring, but people, even more so.
Hey Trish you make the best base camp ever! Marc, Trish your videos are just above and beyond in quality and content! You make my Sundays and always put a smile on my face!!
Awesome job KYD for joining up with Winston and sharing your time with an amazing young man !! Trish you crushed being an RV-trucker momma aka cycling support team and I also loved that you were able to join the boys and ride one day so you could also experience riding on RAGBRAI !!
We've talked several times since the ride. We haven't talked since this video, but our next empty nest adventure has put us a much different time zone.
Thank y’all so much for the video! I know it’s a lot of hard work but you have fun and meet people on the ride. And Winston is a hoot! Loved his morning prayers ❤
I’m RV’ing alone, I sold the farm after losing my husband suddenly. Bought I house I was too alone in, selling that and I’m in my camper van with my shepherds and parrot.
I’m a solo full time RV traveler (Momentum 21G toy hauler) and I’ve been on the road for coming up on 2 years now! It’s definitely challenging at times, but also crazy empowering and you learn just how strong you are ❤
The ride was great to see. Meet up with Winston, a blessing. Jeff and his wife, showing you all the ropes, awesome. Trish the trailer diver, outstanding! You can now park that thing anywhere, on a dime!! Great memories were made!! ❤
So cool to watch you all working together and creating a new team for this event. Your ability to adapt and include is beautiful. God bless you on your next adventure.
This video was so much fun...lots of great energy from all of you, I did this ride this year and it was tough , hot , windy and it was brutal to sleep in a tent in that heat. You all were very wise to have the set up and the sag. Great stuff. Cheers and congratulations on finishing.
You need to do a trail race guys. The energy in that community is amazing. I have done tri’s and other races but trail is sooo positive and encouraging. Nice job
Just want to thank you guys for all that you’ve done. We have just started our full-timer journey a month ago. All the tips and information we’ve gotten from your channel has made our crazy transition so much easier. And Caleb’s hilarious.
Not sure if hes gonna see this but.. Hey Winston!! My little brother has CP and you are so inspiring you literary brought me to tears. Much love from NJ 😘
Great video. I did the ride in 2018 and the nostalgia may make me do it next year. My favorite memory in 2018 was the line up of older folks on the sidewalk in wheelchairs with squirt guns. I almost crashed getting close to all the smiles with super soakers.
Trish! First of all you guys have been my inspiration to get a camper back in 2020. I camp mostly on my own. It is an exciting thing parking my camper! Thank you to KYD❤️
I’m truly amazed at y’all’s outlook and drive to live your lives! Caleb…. AWESOME young man, just as the other kiddos are amazing… I love your videos and can’t wait for the next weeks to be posted! Trisha, you’re awesome and a real trooper, all the work you do and to support your family. And BTW, you did a great job of filming and backing the rig! Safe travels and God Bless!
Trish, you are my hero and an inspiration!!! This video cemented the fact that I need to be brave and take the test to get licensed to drive our RV, like my husband has been saying for years. My husband could really use a help mate at times. Watching you handle it like a pro gave me a big boost of motivation. ❤
It’s always fun trying to retract the awning in a windstorm! A while back, I made the rookie mistake of leaving the awning out when I went to bed. Around midnight, a massive windstorm hit and I jumped out of the trailer into a foot of water and managed to get the awning in before it ripped off the trailer! Great video as always! 🇺🇸 18:15
That was so awesome!!! You obviously had a super great time on this adventure. Enjoyed seeing how you all rode together as a team, the camaraderie among the riders and how you watched out for Winston, Trish's absolutely amazing rving/support skills, and can I just mention the food/Ragbrai support from the townspeople along the way? Just Wow!! Such an amazing conclusion to a fantastic summer before Caleb went off to college, and what a great memory for him and you. Thanks so much for sharing all of this with us. It really was a blast!
We are Iowans and have been following your channel for several years. We are Tandem riders and have done Ragbrai a few times. It is one of the many fantastic events that make our state great. Thank you for dedicating two whole episodes to showing it. You need to come out with some KYD riding jerseys.
I have been waiting for weeks for the RAGBRAI series to drop and both episodes have been absolutely fantastic! Really glad to see you guys take Winston under your wing on the ride as well!
Great video series! My friends and I met you all in Polk City. We were the ones in the pool spinning Winston in the donut! Good times and great memories!
Wow!! Enjoyed this so much. We watched both episodes back to back, we’re exhausted, hot & in need of a shower. Trish, you’re a trouper! Loved meeting all the wonderful people along the way. Winston is an inspiration!
Did not disappoint, y’all make it so fun for all of us at home watching and enjoying! The food looked great and the atmosphere was unbelievable. Hope it was as much fun as it looked like it was. Be safe out there!
Good job lady. You deserve a medal. I pulled a 29 foot travel trailer and with a 15 passenger van across the country in 2006. It was so much fun. I look forward to doing it again next year
Watching was a bitter-sweet experience…in July I was supposed to ride 75km in a Gran Fondo but because of a workplace injury I couldn’t train nor ride. It was supposed to be me doing 75km at 65yrs. I love the feel of riding into a rest stop and especially riding over the finish line & hearing my name announced. I tried to do a multi day ride but couldn’t do the second day, and I’m older & just 50 to 75km takes a lot out of me. So glad still, to watch all of you do the ride! Trish you killed it instead of it killing you! Shows your keeping fit program works tremendously well.
After all these years together (since day one) you'd think that I would no longer be blown away by your feets !! Damn you guys are tough!!! In every single facet of life! You just jump in and do it!! A family of great examples if ever there was one!! Kudos....and thanks for making my every Sunday so special. Esty in Miami, Fl
Came here to say THIS too! This year was my 4th RAGBRAI, hottest I've experienced. Tent camp throughout (except the last Friday; all those I rode with got indoors for safety reasons). Incredibly challenging this year - the AC KYD had (and the early starts) must have helped a great deal! Hoping to see you on the roads of Iowa in a future RAGBRAI!
Love you guys! I moved my family from Southern California to Huxley, Iowa (my wife and three boys). So before work I was able to say hi to Caleb on your guys way to Slater from Ames! Huge culture shock moving from a big city to small town Iowa, but towns like Slater and the people of Iowa are amazing! It was very cool to watch your video of the areas we are coming to know so well! Sad I missed you Mark and Trish! Next time stay at our place, we have RV parking… lol
Piece of cake when you're in shape! What a ride! BUT MORE proud of Trish-WOW! Our rig is far less complicated but my fear of set up equals or exceeds yours early in this experience. Not my bucket list thing but probably more of a necessity thing to learn.
I love watching your videos on RUclips! The only bad thing is I've gotta wait a whole week in between. I also watch Traveling Robert. He's on his way to Alaska, via the Alaska Highway. Today he stopped at the Sign Post Forest, found a spot for his sign! Left the forest but went back later to find You Tuber signs, he located your sign . . KYD 🎉 👏 Stay Safe!
What a great time! Loved watching it.

I love KYD, but learning the back story on Winston would be fantastic.
Winston was doing a FB live the last day of the ride. Maybe KYD could share his FB page. (With Winston's permission, of course.)
Oh my what an episode! This is one where we gathered the family together and restarted just to so we could be reminded that indeed through Christ we can endure all things. We've talked several times since the ride. We haven't talked since this video, but our next empty nest adventure has put us a much different time zone.
You guys are awesome and Trish, YOU are the BOMB. Great job!!!
Oh my goodness, LOVE Winston! What a sweet fella and I loved his prayer. Very cool. Trish, you’re a trooper we all aspire to.
That flipping the pancakes onto people’s plates was amazing!! 😱
Trish is so inspiring doing it solo. You got this! It might be slower without Marc, but you did it! What a blessing you are to your family.
So sorry for your loss but man, you’re a brave lady. What kind of parrot do you have? I have a Quaker, just love her to pieces!
Best wishes on what lies ahead! Life is an adventure. Live it!
I’m a solo full time RV traveler (Momentum 21G toy hauler) and I’ve been on the road for coming up on 2 years now! It’s definitely challenging at times, but also crazy empowering and you learn just how strong you are ❤
LOVE the prayer starting out the ride! 👍🏼
The ride was great to see. Meet up with Winston, a blessing. Jeff and his wife, showing you all the ropes, awesome. Trish the trailer diver, outstanding! You can now park that thing anywhere, on a dime!! Great memories were made!! ❤
A KYD bike jersey should be considered to commemorate this years bike rides. After watching your adventures I feel like I participated in the trips!
I am working with TREK on that. I need to get back on it.
Really was impressed by the way you all treated Winston…
And To the way She Drove around the Trailer and setting up the Camper
💯💯💯
This video is so awesome! Watched it twice! Great video, vibes and tunes! 😊
So cool to watch you all working together and creating a new team for this event. Your ability to adapt and include is beautiful. God bless you on your next adventure.

If the prayer at 2:04 doesn’t get you in the feels and motivate you….nothing will! Great episode KYD!
WOW inspiring, beautiful family, love, community

Sounds like an incredible ride with awesome local participation.
Now I need to look up RAW!
Welcome to my world Trish. I'm a solo full timer and it's a lot of work to set up/tear down by yourself. Great job.
Trish is an absolute JOY! Always has been. Do you men in her life know how lucky you are?
We are Iowans and have been following your channel for several years. We are Tandem riders and have done Ragbrai a few times. It is one of the many fantastic events that make our state great. Love your adventures!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a cool experience! You more than likely made an awesome experience for Winston!

Love you guys! I moved my family from Southern California to Huxley, Iowa (my wife and three boys). So before work I was able to say hi to Caleb on your guys way to Slater from Ames! Culture shock for sure, but great to know that "Iowa Nice" is a real thing. Sorry we missed you too, but glad you got to meet Caleb.
Go Trish! What a great ride and a great video.
Piece of cake when you're in shape!
What a ride!
BUT MORE proud of Trish-WOW! Our rig is far less complicated but my fear of set up equals or exceeds yours early in this experience.
Not my bucket list thing but probably more of a necessity thing to learn.
Winston is awesome. I'd love to learn more about him!!
GREAT EPISODE!! So good!! ❤
I love watching your videos on RUclips! The only bad thing is I've gotta wait a whole week in between. I also watch Traveling Robert. He's on his way to Alaska, via the Alaska Highway. I'll have to watch. Thanks for the heads-up. He seems like a nice guy. We haven't met yet.
This was so good! Thanks for the memories.
Congrats on an epic ride guys! Pedal Power! 🚴🏽♂🥇🏁
The answer to, "how many meetings did it take?, is "about 2 cases of beer".
Wow what a great run, and Trish hats off to you girl...! Looks like you all had a great time and ride
This wonderful. I could never do it but God bless everyone of you that did.
What an awesome video. Winston has inspired me to get out there.
