Hi Rebecca! In my opinion I very much enjoy listening to you discuss your decision wheel and I think it makes it fun when you use it to decide your next project. My mom would always say "a lick and a promise when she would vacuum when I was a child. I remember asking her what that meant and she told me "a quick lick through today and a promise to do a better job next time". I thought it was quite funny. Have an amazing week! Thanks for another great WIP and waffle.

I tell my husband to just give the camper a lick and a promise. As you can imagine you can never get a deep clean until the end of the season. We have said that in my family for years. We always use the UK meaning. ❤

Rebecca I wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. I have picked up so many techniques from your discussions. The latest is the decision wheel. Like you, I love all of my kits and want to do all of them so when it came to figuring out which one to do next was very difficult and I was always thinking I should have chosen a different one. I decided to give the decision wheel a go and absolutely love it. When the wheel makes the decision on a new kit-up I am always excited by the choice. On a daily basis I have a wheel that tells me which wip to work on.

hi rebecca, i have been catching up on 3 weeks worth of videos after my boyfriend and his parents came for a visit. as you can see i'm not fully caught up yet. Hitting pause again, … can’t wait to get that olive green tray! I absolutely love that color 💚💚💚 On my current WIP, I have 10 trays in use scattered across my diamond painting. No accidents (yet) (fingers crossed). It’s just easier to keep the colors at hand instead of constant tipping, etc, to change colors. Hold the phone! I just found another tray in my drawer (from the advent) 😂

Hitting pause > --- regarding the commentator that poo-poo'd the decision wheel choosing Kenny or any other kit - well - let's just say "to each their own'. I welcome the decision wheel discussion - because like Rebecca says - when you love all your kits - you may need a little 'help' in the choosing. When I hear about it, i think about how i look at my stash and what to do next.
For example - i have a lot of DAC kits. they are the majority of my stash. however, i do want to do my others companies too. SO, i'm going to set up a decision wheel for my DAC squares vs rounds, and then a wheel for which company (non-DAC) to choose - then put each company on their own wheel. that way, i always have a DAC on the go - and something vastly different as a sidekick.
This won't happen today as it's going to take me awhile to get through my current square DAC which is all shades of blue, etc (22 colors), and my sidekick is Diamond Dotz Irises by Van Gogh (and rounds) (and very colorful). BUT, before i finish either - i will get my wheels set up.

Well, I put all my square paintings in a decision wheel…actually I left out my Christmas and winter themed ones…and spun the wheel. Yippee! It stopped on a painting that I am very happy to work on. It is called “Spring Birdhouse” by DAC. I kitted that baby up and started placing diamonds ASAP! It’s a biggie but that is fine with me. Just keep on sharing your decision wheel outcomes, too, Rebecca! All parts of your waffles are fun…decision wheel included.

Lick and a Promise is one of my pet sayings when it comes to housework around here! Been saying it for decades.

I have found that when I am taking a picture of my diamond painting (like when I am taking one to post online), after I snap the picture (on my phone or my tablet), I automatically view the photo and then edit and crop out what I don't want seen. I am able to crop my feet out of the picture that way without having to worry about it.

To take a picture of your dp when finished you can use an over the door hanger usually a front door while inside when you have good indirect light

Hi Rebecca! Hope all is well with you. Love hearing you talk about your decision wheel. I use my decision wheel when I can’t make a decision as to my next project. I have done a thing where I went to Hobbycraft, just to browse mind you and came away with a diamond dotz diamond painting, a storage tray (it came as a pack of three) for my cover release paper, a box for my mega trays, a pair of scissors, diamond dotz sealer and two small bins.

Use your decision wheel proudly!😂 It's fun to watch which painting is going to be next.
Anyways. I've watched your videos since December 2020.

Hi Rebecca. After 4 separate watches I am am finally to the end. Two rows done with “Magic Bus” by DAC and I am loving it; even if the 959 of this kit is seemingly a few centimeters too small and is causing extra gapping that’s rather frustrating. I love when you discuss the decision wheel - keep it up. There’s a lot of ways to use it and shares ideas with the members of the community.
How do you decide where to add extra ABs? I want to do so on my budget paintings and just can’t find a good way to decide where they should go, so I just give up.

Hi, I would like to clarify what AI is, which is Artificial Intelligence. Machine or software compatible so, that person that had commented 'don't let AI take over your life' she meant your phone, the software of your phone.
I love your videos. I can't wait till you get around to Still Waiting by Diamond Art Club as I have that in my stash too.
I have never used nor heard of that phrase 'a lick and a promise' and I live in the UK, Scotland so if it is from the UK it would be more of an England phrase than anything else.

Pausing to address a rude comment. The comment you just read out from Diamonds and Doberman raised my hackles a bit. I realize you did ask and you do value our input, but her comment was just plain rude. You handled it beautifully, as you always do, but it got me a bit defensive on your behalf. Opinions can be quite helpful, but there are certain ways they should be stated. Telling Rebecca her discussions about the decision wheel, which we all love, is exhausting was just plain rude. Perhaps reading over your comment, and its tone, before hitting send is advisable.
