@@mithran162 They charge pretty fast. I think out the box mine took about 45 minutes to fully charge. Make sure to download the JBL Headphones app also so you can use the features like an EQ and also customize your tap and swipe functions on the earbuds themselves.
I’m quite happy. I watched another review that said they were great so I just ordered them then saw this and got worried but the comment section is full of people saying this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about
I have to agree with the majority of the comments here and these ear buds have been fantastic. Like them so much I bought 3 more pair for the rest of my family and no one else has had any issues. This video is either based upon user error or the need to exchange his buds for a new set because regardless of the product every manufacturer has a lemon or two roll off the assembly line (Amazon or JBL will gladly do an exchange if you contact them within prescribed timeframes). Don’t believe this review. Buy yourself a pair, you won’t regret it.
I just got these ear buds and I was disappointed with the touch features because like you the swipes weren't really working. That is until I figured out that you have to start the swipe in the center and do a fast swipe. Also I had to change the wing sizes as they pre-installed ones were a bit too big. I think these are great ear buds.
I have had mine for two weeks now and I love them honestly and all the tap and swipe gestures work perfectly I guess they don't work well for everyone. Also I never had an issue with the earbuds ever disconnecting they also sound incredible.

This guy deleted my comment on how bias he is on this video. Short and simple answer is, dont trust this review. There are many factors that this guy cant talk about. That's not professional.
I have a pair of these earbuds and I think they have great audio quality, however that can't be said about their functions. Very frustrating if you're working out and you are try to skip, lower the volume on a tune. You will have a love hate relation with these earbuds. I can only say I compare it to the voice commands on a phone when first introduced, you asked to dial Mike, but you got Bob. That's how the functions on these buds work (they really don't work).
I hate mine. It stops music even with just small movement. Cant even connect to my phone after using on my mac, cant controll it properly, just... horrible.
I'm having a bluetooth connectivity issue. The headphones are listed as jbl live300tws-le and they no longer connect to bluetooth. I've tried resetting them, the phone, and nothing works. This has happened with two pairs.
I just bought a pair last night from Walmart and I gotta say that seeing this video is making me a lil nervous. I paid $29.99 for mine. I just started charging them a half hour ago so I'm looking to see if any of this is true...
I agree with him, first it was the left earbud that stopped working for days than randomly started working again, now it’s the right earbud, JBL is a great company but the JBL Live 300 quality just suck. The sound is amazing and so is the bass but they just stop working randomly and worse completely at times.
Sorry Andy but these earbuds are good. Unfortunately, you didn't get the technique on how to use the touch sensor. The initial connection is all good. Not the best but it is all good. The fit, you have to mix and match depends on your ear compatibility. No offense but these buds suck but only to a person who's not competent in simple thinking and a little trying. BTW, to those having a hard time on the touch vol and the left ear gesture try this: You have to do a very quick tap-slide (left/right). Don't tap-slide it like a bummer.
@@TechinfluenceTV probably, but only if you won't start the tap-sliding correctly. Start at the CENTER (not at the edge of the bud) then tap-sliding pushing into your ear with the quick fly on your finger. IMO, these buds have to be used properly in a very simple way. No need to winch about the design and it works great only if you know how to adapt. This is not some Ironman stuff that has to be perfect in every way but, it is what it is. Connectivity is okay but I ve had issue, with earbuds randomly turning off and I have to put them in the case to get them to work. Or put them in the case close but won't disconnected from the phone
Agree. I have live 300 buds. No longer use them. Terrible microphone. If you look down when working, the often switch off. Lose connectivity all the time. The app is an utter waste of time. Agree about the touch control. It is utterly useless. I also find.they would fall out a lot. Sitting on the shelf until I finally throw them away.
Don t anyone belive in anything he said in this video, the earbuds are just the best, they fit very well in your ear just chouse from the box the perfect accesory to feel comfy. The sound its just amazing!!! I recomand this earbuds!!!

You have to be smarter than the earbuds, dude. First of all, you have to tap the sensor, not swipe, but seeing as though you've probably never tapped anything in your life, I'll try to let this one slide.....
I agree with you at some limit….my left earbud isn’t working and keeps disconnecting inside of my ear.I’ve tried everything and it just doesn’t turn on and connect properly.however the battery life and durability of the case as well as the speed of the charging is flawless.
Good sound quality, terrible touch controls/ app. Buds tend to disconnect a lot, and it feels like if the case doesn’t have power but the buds do, they won’t work.
You need app or it will be disaster. You need firmware update. After that it solves problem, so it won't delay. I had same delay issues, but after firmware update. It is great. Sound quality is great.
I've been having issues with the charging on these things. they don't keep a charge or hold a charge long period or I'll find when I charge them they'll lose a charge on their own inside the case without me touching them. Just as you said, I love JBL products. The other pair of wireless earbuds I had from them, I really loved. unfortunately I lost the left ear bud which made them obsolete. So I had to purchase another pair. I decided to step it up with these. the sound is pretty decent and they are just as comfortable if not more comfortable than the other JBL true wireless earbuds I had. But that's about where I stop with the compliments. and it's very unfortunate because it made me lose trust and jbl. 🤷🏻♂️
Every gadget has a defect. If its defective have it exchange, i have b&o e8, even it wasnt perfect, i couldn't pair on my phone all of a sudden. Then i found out it was a glitch, i had them replaced, and everything's working fine for 7 months now..
You will need to set the earbuds to manufacturer default. Put both earbuds in the case then remove the right earbud. Put the right earbud in your ear and then double tap and hold for 8-10 seconds.
I only got these headphones for music, and I'm happy with them, though it seems that ( unless I'm doing something wrong ) left headphone only ( while right ine stays in case ) doesn't want to work for me through the app
Is it the first earbuds you ever tried? Its looking like you're not even trying for real to fit them in your ears...? I dont like negative reviews like this when i feel like the person is just hating on the product, it feels personnal somehow? Weird, very weird review.. Not helpfull imo, Ill definitely buy and see by myself... 💯
I am a jbl fan boy myself. I have got four jbl Bluetooth speakers the jbl exreme 2 jbl charge 3 jbl charge 4 and I got the jbl file 5. And they all have good bass quality. However i never owen a jbl wireless earbuds because they don't sound as good ss there speakers.
😊 JBL live300 are not horrible dude. the frame rate you recorded at is. how about you not buy product that you know you're not going to like and get a better camera and internet connection so you can upload it without having to debate picture quality over frame rate cuz the file is too big. and maybe the touch sensitive pads don't work because your fingers are cold just like your soul. a desert wasteland devoid of happiness so much that the Quagmire that is your heart will never be filled with love again.
I didn't even see the video but the reasons in the description is laughable at best. "Phone app drains your battery" lol, like you really need their phone app, like that's something unfixable, like everyone wants to use the assistants, like everyone wants to swipe for the next song and so on. Nothing about how they sound, nothing about the passive noise reduction, nothing about volumes and such. Nothing truly interesting, sorry buddy, talk about something else
I dont have a problem with the touch controls idk not gonna lie your hands looking very grimy maybe wash them? Not trying to be a jerk just pointing out what I saw.
If u spend 100$+ or more on earbuds that u can’t track or have a location of where they are then just buy a 15$ pair from wal mart because wen u lose ur expensive ones or they don’t work and there will come a time as all things eventually fall out .u won’t feel as bad about the. 15$ ones lol

Yes I like the bass on this buds but one problem if ur not careful I put em to charge in the case but if u don’t put em right in the case they will stay on and u will lose battery and yes connectivity is not to good but they sound good just those issues they need to fix and this will be perfect also the buttons I have no problem because I use my Apple Watch to change the music

There are lots in the comments that are having the same issue. It’s not a very good product hence it being slashed in price
@@TechinfluenceTV weirdo
Lol
If you contact JBL they’ll make it right.
How do you turn it off? It starts to flash in white when I put buds into case and close the lid?
i broke my phone and got a new phone but my buds are tied to the broken one, whaT do i do?
You will need to set the earbuds to manufacturer default. Put both earbuds in the case then remove the right earbud. Put the right earbud in your ear and then double tap and hold for 8-10 seconds.
I managed to reset them accidently by spamming everything few days back, but this will deffo help in the future though soundski 😁
reset them
I only got these headphones for music, and I'm happy with them, though it seems that ( unless I'm doing something wrong ) left headphone only ( while right ine stays in case ) doesn't want to work for me through the app
That's normal, TotallydubbedHD mentions it in his review
Is it the first earbuds you ever tried?
Its looking like you're not even trying for real to fit them in your ears...?
I dont like negative reviews like this when i feel like the person is just hating on the product, it feels personnal somehow? Weird, very weird review..
Not helpfull imo, Ill definitely buy and see by myself... 💯
I love mine thanks to Flossy Carter these sound amazing
I am a jbl fan boy myself. I have got four jbl Bluetooth speakers the jbl exreme 2 jbl charge 3 jbl charge 4 and I got the jbl file 5. And they all have good bass quality. However i never owen a jbl wireless earbuds because they don't sound as good ss there speakers.
I agree. The head phones are actually amazing. The wireless earbuds are garbage
I understand the execution of the software issue.. But sound is just Amazing... I like mine.. 😇 ✌🏼
Does they have low latency?
I didn't even see the video but the reasons in the description is laughable at best. "Phone app drains your battery" lol, like you really need their phone app, like that's something unfixable, like everyone wants to use the assistants, like everyone wants to swipe for the next song and so on. Nothing about how they sound, nothing about the passive noise reduction, nothing about volumes and such. Nothing truly interesting, sorry buddy, talk about something else
Now that I got em for christmas , they ain't bad , I like em though
I dont have a problem with the touch controls idk not gonna lie your hands looking very grimy maybe wash them? Not trying to be a jerk just pointing out what I saw.
I haven't had these for long but I love them
You Can upgrade them on the app, i dont have any problème with them even when i use them on my pc
Dang I’m disappointed to hear all the bad stuff about these. I prefer jbl over any other brand so now I don’t know which wireless buds I’m gonna get.
It’s cyber Monday . Thanks for the info. They did discount them drastically
You must hate Jbl because these are awesome, don't know what you're talking about
0:00 what did he say
You don't know what you are talking about. They pair perfectly no issues with anything
i do i not know what im talking about it didnt pair....
I HATE these. They never charge. The case says there changed, they never are. I can only use them once a day. Total crap waste of money.
Yeah to bad I didn't find your video mine stoped pairing with my phone. The airbuds find each other but neither phone or pc is not picking up Bluetooth connection.
I'm terribly sorry to hear that.
I have never had a problem with mine
I think you got a Chinese knockoff my dude.. I have no clue whats going on with yours but I have mine for a year + now and have no problem with them ( I know this video is a year old but that why I'm writing this) .. never had a problem with them .
you should get the buds plus.
It doesn't work without the app??
No it does. I just had latency issues
Both earbuds connect just fine without the app. Maybe they updated them. I just bought them recently.
bunch of problems aswell but theres quick fixes for all of them. jbl is good at hardware, not software. they deleted all my eqs, constantly reset my gestures, desync when i take one out and put it down on the table. given up on any swiping aswell. good sound though
My left Airbud just dosnt even turn on
I agree bro. Why all earbuds put a not necessary system only need in eabuds is paused volume next music . enough
I jut buy this ..it's ok for me..nothing bad
I have watched many reviews on these earbuds, and it seems like you are totally off from many reviews that I have watched. Sorry you’ve had a bad experience with these.
The complaint about the touch is just on u tbh
