hi guys, here's another week in my life as summer comes to an end here in seoul. I was a little on edge this whole time because of family stuff in the States so if I sound a little off, thats why :/ thanks for your understanding always!

forgot to mention why i dont get a perm anymore and basically, its really damaging - i saw that if i continued perming, i didnt notice the damage because it was covered by the perm but once i stopped, the hair that grew in was even frizzier than before. as i've let my hair grow out for a few years now, its finally better and i much prefer my natural hair to hair that looks nice but will literally snap off lol

Idk if it’s just me but i almost like vlogs where we just chill with you at home, make some nice tea, bake a cake, read a book, do some hair care, clean up, paint, or just random things around the house. it’s so soothing for me, at least. sorry you were having a down day, i hope you’re better now 🍃 it’s starting to get cold where i am. could you talk about your tea obsession a little :P i just wanna know i’m not the only tea hoarder out here lol.

a fun note on the name of the tea! (im swedish) ”himla” literally translates to ”heaven” but is very often colloquially used to mean ”very” so it can be translated to both ”heavenly good” and ”very good”, just a cute play on words (which explains the angel om the packaging) that i wanted to share! 💕

Oh my god WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF SWEDISH TEA! Everytime I go home I bring back at least a kilo of flavoured loose leaf tea. There are so many little cute shops where they have a wall of tins of tea behind a counter and you go up and ask to smell or for recommendations. My favourite one is called "vita knektar", or white knights, and I have no idea what it's meant to taste like but it's delicious and have teeny tiny meringues in it (I suppose these are the white knights!).

The relatability in this video! I, too, cannot be bothered to style my thick hair. I think I use my blow dryer 20 times a year or less, and only if I have to shower right before bed or going out somewhere that matters. 😅 I've definitely gotten that "toe bones crossing" feeling before and I HATE IT. And finally, I, too, love a good peach tea. 🍑 That apple cake looked delicious! Hope the visa process went as smoothly as any bureaucratic rigamaroll can.

Your hair came out great but I did love the way layers look on you because they framed your face really nicely and it had a lot of volume and sass like the Little Mermaid. Now it looks like a straight cut making your roots appear less voluminous and too much bulk at the ends so it’s weighing your hair down. Again, it still came out nice but if you got layers, it would fix the bulky ends look. You should also consider getting a sleeping bonnet or scarf to cover your hair while you sleep. It prevents breakage, frizz, and even acne. Not that you have any. Have great skin, but when your hair gets longer if you wear a sleep bonnet you won’t feel the urge to run out and cut it. But it’s okay because it’ll grow back quick!😄 I’m totally trying that cake recipe btw. Looks delicious! Thanks! I’m excited for your fall vlogs. ♥️

Another enjoyable few moments with the one and only Cari Cakes! Who also happens to make cakes! You make it look so easy, and delicious too. Unfortunately I have the Bandini touch when it comes to things like that, so I truly appreciate your culinary prowess lol. I could practically smell it. I love cakes that aren't overly sugary. Yours looked like it would be perfect with coffee.
You hair is simply gorgeous, and you don't really have to do anything with it. Amazing. The ideal length is either twice the distance from the top of your head to the bottom of your chin, or three times that. Depends on how tall you are too. You can go four times that length, but going long becomes a daily chore, and you don't strike me as that kind of person. Although you have an eye for cute outfits, you seem to dress out of necessity more than being into high fashion. That fits your personality to a T. Your vlogs are always warm and personable. Even if it's just shorts and a t shirt, it's the person inside that makes the outfit. Thank you again, for a (I still say they're too short) delightful chat, or I guess it's more of a watch; still works though!

Your hair looks fabulous! Even when you thought it didn't, it looked great. I'm rather jealous. Recently my hair just doesn't want to grow. I used to be able to grow down to my elbows now it stops just below my shoulders. I think it's because I've hit menopause. Belly grows, hair is not growing...freaking menopause. In Turkey when we have green sour apples we eat them with salt as if you were eating a lemon with salt (at least in my family XD) and needless to say they taste awesome. You should try it. I would really like to see your reaction

i usually use the juice maker, put away the juice and use the waste on the recipe... i also use a cup on the mw for about 3 min. i gonna try to make an apple cake. XOXO
I grew up in a neighborhood where folks had quince bushes in their yards. Low bushes rather than trees. The fruit looks like a big yellow apple. But hard and probably sour. Sounds like a nice flavor for tea tho.
i've seen people cut it up and make a sort of jam out of it for tea! basically like 'yujacha' here in korea^^

It’s interesting to see the similarities between languages because whilst the Swedish and German words for quince and peach are spelled quite differently they sound fairly similar. I can access Rosetta Stone through my university and I really like it for learning vocabulary because once I start a lesson I usually study for an hour or so without distractions which I hardly do when studying on my own. Sometimes I have to use other resources to read up on grammar rules because I find it hard to figure out when to use which particle etc without someone telling me the concrete rules.
I just got back from picking apples at my grandparent’s garden and wanted to make apple sauce out of them but I think I’ll give the cake recipe a go.
