Bob The Yes most fleet vehicles not involved in class action lawsuits make it past 400k+ due to their mandatory scheduled maintenance and repair prevention.
Remember three major items disappeared after around June/July 2021 due to the global chip shortage 1. Auto Stop/Start….no major loss there in fact I would pay GM $50 to have GM disable. 2. Wireless Charging 3…. Electronic Steering column lock.
I do like that they went back to Amber turn signals in the rear. The only glaring item in the interior is the tablet screen. Too many manufacturers are using tablets which I don’t mind but build the center instrument panel around the tablet, not the tablet around the console. Bonus points for the dual/dual exhaust pipes Jeers for removing fog lights
Just got one. Was a gamble on whether it would sell off the truck. Found one chanced it and was not pre sold…..purchased and sales rep texted me this morning arrived….two days early…..Mad scramble to get both trade ins to CarToyz for dashcam removal but done and should be picking up tomorrow late AM. Premier pretty loaded. Midnight Blue with Jet Black interior.
Very informative review! I really want one but will wait for dealer discounts to kick in before purchasing. Still have my eyes on the Telluride as well. Leaning towards the Chevy since it has the roomier 3rd row.
About lane assist, I wish it didn't come under category of safety for any car. When comes to safety there shouldn't be hits and misses then it means its not working and we are paying for something not working
I drove a 2020 Camry rental a few weeks ago, I had to turn the lane keep assist off! It was way too aggressive, and even slowed the car down on sweeping turns. It wasn't like I was canyon carving as if I was in my Z06 either.
The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade account for 50% of all large SUV sales in the US. GM makes 340,000 of them every year and exports about 80,000 to 31 countries. They’re made in GM’s plant in Arlington, Texas, which is said to be the most profitable assembly plant in the world. We estimate they generate $20 billion in revenue for GM and about $4 billion in profits. Autoline Daily.
Matt, when do you think Super Cruise makes it to the Tahoe? Would this trim +$5ish ($76k?) for SC still be a good buy? Thanks as always for the great reviews.
I’m not sure, they may want to have it be Escalade-exclusive for a few years or it could be added as soon as next year since they are planning to roll it out to Chevys pretty quickly (Bolt EUV will be the first). The Escalade starts around 80k so assuming they didn’t force you into a loaded model, at 76k I’d probably just pay 5-10k more at that point for the Escalade.

The design team that created the front should be recognized.
Hope they are given more freedom to keep designing updates.
I miss the days of Tahoe’s which cost $37,000 and would go 500,000 miles
they probably will still go to 500k miles
Bob The Yes most fleet vehicles not involved in class action lawsuits make it past 400k+ due to their mandatory scheduled maintenance and repair prevention.
These new Tahoes with all the complex electronics and added features, not to mention turbo engine will likely last 37,000 miles 😂
Nothing by GM has ever lasted 500k miles that wasn't diesel. Don't kid yourself. Shit vehicles.

I agree this looks much better in person.

The new Tahoe and Suburban is looking real nice
Good that this is a full redesign rather than a facelift
I do really like that partial c pillar looks pretty dope. Not as dope as that flame outfit thooo
This actually gets good fuel economy compared to the competition.
Why are you dressed like a dad from 1986🤨
Lol are jeans, polo shirts and barracuta jackets not in style anymore?
Matt Maran Motoring it’s the color of the barracuta for me...that with the shoes reminds me of a scene from “what about bob” lol 😂
Go easy on Matt but I agree he looks like a dad from 1986 or 1976! We love you Matt! 😁
The front looks really good to me.
But I understand that design/styling is subjective.
I wish the c-piller was hidden behind a tinted glass.
With the removal of the SRA which new full size SUV would you want to be towing a full size travel or horse trailer loaded up on a family vacation?
I wished the Z71 or RST got the 6.2L engine. Not a fan of the high country and it's chrome trim everywhere
The previous model interior was better ; dont like the protruding screen it feels like corolla vibe
Hopefully you can get a Yukon Denali with the 6.2.
9:19 turning a car or a boat?
Looks good but should have fog lights. Huge miss.

What is the actual name of the exterior color?
Looks like satin steel
So silly that the hood is at shoulder height.
Wait, I thought the quad pipe setup was for 6.2L V8 engines only, am I wrong in that assumption?
My Premier has them, so I don’t think it’s limited to the 6.2. Cheers

This front end is nice but looks better on the silverado. All blacked out is sinister on this generation
4 Grand less than a Denali. With prices that low why not
The Denali easily makes up for that measly $4k

it will probably make it like next generation

Will it last 200k miles is the real question
probably
Not a chance with all that tech.
Matt do you have any predictions for California or the country with our mandate of no NEW gas powered vehicles sold by 2035?
I discuss the news a bit in this video from a few weeks ago at the 4:27 mark: ruclips.net/video/nONvTz8632g/видео.html
hopefully it doesn't happen
I'm actually amazed that Gavin Newsom can just do that by executive fiat, without even bothering to ask California citizens if that's what they want.
Yes….Don’t buy from California!!

I don't think mirror cameras is worth it b/c u can just back up w/ side mirrors like truckers do

If only that grille was a bit bigger............
Why are the views so low lately on car reviews? So depressing to see. I think I will end RUclips after this year.
