Finally, I was able to purchase my first Edward VI Shilling this year, the pride of my collection, it has a dark lustre but certainly a Very Fine grade in all, I hope to manage a Sixpence to compliment this and it's well worth saving up for the better quality ones, where the portrait literally jumps out at you. Back in 1982 I was offered a similar Shilling for just £45, at the time it seemed like a fortune and I could only gasp in dismay at owning such a beautiful example. This is how long it has taken to actually own one, so don't give up hope, obviously a little more pricier these days, but definitely worth the wait. Another great video😃👍. E6 coins don’t come out of the ground very often and the posthumous coins are often mistaken for H8 as you said.

I got an 1653 commonwealth shilling the other day and that’s the most expensive piece in my collection
