The only reason why I stopped going to this carwash was because it kept spraying half the presoak and half high pressured rinse. But now this laserwash is gone, we get the soft/touchfree wash machine which does a much BETTER job.
Hey that place looks familiar, right off of the 494 interstate near MSP airport and Mall of America. Anyways, all Holiday gas stations here have upgraded all their carwash bays to Ryko Radius or Radius HT systems. Before, they used to be Ryko's SoftGloss system. Next time you're in Minnesota, check out the Kwik Trip stations. They have the Mark VII ChoiceWash system. Where you can choose between a soft touch or touchfree wash. The SuperAmerica stations here mainly have old systems. Last time I went through one, it was terrible, never again. Therefore I just go to the Kwik Trip or Holiday since their systems are newer.
I always go to Kwik Trip Systems. They're always filled up on Chemicals and they're Brushes are always in good condition. I always go for the Elite Soft Touch. Short and Sweet
This video reminded me, a week ago, I found my first Ryco car wash, and it also reminded me I have a video to put together on it. Funny thing is, I've been by it a lot, never noticed it until a few weeks ago. BTW: If you rent/bowwow a hatchback, and nobody's sitting in the back, take the headrests off. MUCH better visibility! (I have mine off of the Fiesta)
Good idea on the headrests. I have yet to drive another car with a back windscreen even close to the size of the one on my '00 Avalon. Seems they've gotten smaller on more modern cars (even large ones, like the new Avalons). Not sure if it's just changing style, something safety related, etc.
There is another system like this one on my area but it's just called the radius rather than radius ht and along next to it is a soft gloss xs 2 at jiffylube. As for rentals, my parents normally choose enterprise.
Man if I owned a car wash I would have a coded foam that can make a car smell like mint or either perfume and lavender smell based on the type of wash like mint as normal wash, perfume as deluxe wash, and lavender as Express wash.
I wonder if the thicker coatings are due to up here in the upper Midwest our cars get a thick coating of road salt in the winter. Up here, unlimited car wash passes are your best friend if you hate road salt. I know people who have a pass and get their car washed on a daily basis because they already paid for the pass so they can use it as many times as they want.
SF Car Wash Channel They would never let a customer do that. It's usually just a simple N/S wash System. At least that's who Avis/Budget has contract with.
Yes, they actually have let their customers film their car washes before. Car Wash Studios has done this several times. Some airports also have unusually accessible systems (such as the airports in Kailua Kona and Hilo, HI).
***** Yeah National is owned by Enterprise but National lets you pick what car you want. Which is super nice cause you usually can get SUVs and Minivans for the price of a compact car :)
+The Elevator Channel i like those radius with ryko thrust pro dryers because radius has blue arm those are very nice btw I like those presoaks like my macneil kwik kar wash does best high pressure rinse like protectant.
"Well So Do I.... What A Coincidence." 😂😂😂
Hurray! You've finally found a ryko radius which is a very first car wash system I've found in costa mesa, CA
I saw my first Mark 7 car wash today :P and I saw one of this just now
The only reason why I stopped going to this carwash was because it kept spraying half the presoak and half high pressured rinse. But now this laserwash is gone, we get the soft/touchfree wash machine which does a much BETTER job.
I love ryko car washes,my favorite is the soft gloss xs2.

Agreed, my only complaint on the Mark VII is that their dryers stand no chance against the Ryko dryers.
+MTTech Yea, but they're still decent. They get the job done
You're right, could be worse.
CORRECTION: You have found a Ryko Radius HT. There is a slight difference in that this is newer and is a bit rarer than the Radius.
If that's the case than the system wasn't installed too long ago.
Thanks! Title updated.
+The Elevator Channel great video but nice interior of the rental car
Nice video, I pass this car wash all the time on the highway but have never been to it
This video reminded me, a week ago, I found my first Ryco car wash, and it also reminded me I have a video to put together on it.

Great video Jacob! Gotta love that video pay station :)
@MJM reviews thats his name.

Enterprise is my personal favorite as well. My company has a contract with Hertz, so I end up using them for all of my business trips.
It doesn't say "Do not back up", it says "Do not backup", so you can only have an original version of the wash.
I noticed that
At 8:13
This reminds me of the PDQ Laserwash M5
Man if I owned a car wash I would have a coded foam that can make a car smell like mint or either perfume and lavender smell based on the type of wash like mint as normal wash, perfume as deluxe wash, and lavender as Express wash.
It's interesting. Most of the Holiday Stations seem to like to use ryko.
great video ive wanted to go to a ryko radius ive never been to one before but i have been to a ryko US2001 rollover
I've been looking for one for years as well. This was my first.
The Elevator Channel You wouldn't be if you came to Alberta.
Yes plz do more car washes
I think this radius did a good job
2:05 Notice that the clock in that car says 2-15-2022. 🤨🤔
This reminds me of the LaserWash 360.

In Iowa I get a pass during the winter months when it's far too cold for me to wash it by hand. Keeps the salt off to hopefully avoid rust.
Yeah I have one for $27 a month. I wash about 5 times a week usually.
If you have the time, you may want to ask the rental car agency if you can film their fleet car wash (assuming they have one).
SF Car Wash Channel They would never let a customer do that. It's usually just a simple N/S wash System. At least that's who Avis/Budget has contract with.

SF Car Wash Channel ..
Light rail looked like a Siemens C70-Mk2 there.
I bought a new car last year and I get free car washes as long as I own it. It's pretty convenient
The carwashes are crap at most dealers.
+pug Williams maybe some are but mine is nice
ReviewsTechNow Yeah most don't even have spot free water like mine
How is it possible?
+shaddyhacker how is what possible?
I saw a laserwash 4000 that has a key pad like that
Jacob, the kind of guy who is sweet enough to wash a rental car.
Ive seen 8 of the original ryko radius machines i southern California
omg! im in minneapolis right now!
That was a ryko radius. It's kinda like a laser wash.
I love the car washing vids most plz reply
Hay the elevator channel do want to go to the quick clean car wash in Independence Missouri
High Impact.
Did the rental car have a California plate? Because we got a rental that looked like it had the same interior and it was a Hyundai.
Can you do a hotel review and also do water wizard 2.0?
I like it better when you use your Toyota Avalon for car wash videos.
As do I, but it was a choice of either washing the rental car or leaving Minneapolis with no car wash video.
Sucks that you have to rent from Hertz and not National where they let you pick your car.
Yeah, my company has a contract with Hertz. Enterprise is my personal favorite.

Can you do a original water wizard
I know where one is
use PDQ wash systems thats for washing great not ryko and diffrent wash systems thats bad and wont clean your car good
I thought you were in st paul MN
Was that a Delta Airlines building? its at the end
Thomas Castellanos-Arroyo yup! Minneapolis is a Hub for Delta Airlines, formerly Northwest airlines before Delta acquired them.
Oh cool!!!! I
Single foam: a little sparse
Radius ht and radius they're probably the same or radius ht must have more than radius and what car was that again
2016 Hyundai Accent Hatchback from Hertz at the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport!😸
@@ryanfrisby7389 oh ok cool
😸
hi
Business trip or vacation in MN?
Business. Just spent a few days in the area.
I don't live anywhere near you.
4:57 is it thick spelled T H I C C?
😂
Where is your car Jacob
he doesn't live in Minnesota. Therefore he's using a rental for a business trip I'm assuming. He lives in Missouri.
You're correct. Few up there on business, so I didn't have my car. Just the rental.
Another trip report?
The evil car wash woman offered the top wash, you love the top wash lol.
This looks like Laserwash.
It is
