I hooped with the Freak 1s for a while. Super comfortable in my opinion because my foot is narrow. The traction is average (maybe a bit above average) but the zoom units in the heel let you transition smoothly into moving to your toes (you get a lot of court feel so you can control yourself pretty well even if it doesn’t have the best traction). Also small benefit the tongue is connected to the base with webbing so it won’t be moving to the sides like some other shoes do when you constantly have to rearrange them. I have a pair of 2s coming in soon from Nike By You and I’ll let you know about them because the new ones have double zoom in the forefoot instead (tons of foam in the back) and have special outdoor soles (XDR) that you can get.

I always take off my right shoe when I’m driving, Don’t want creases or any scuffing of the sole! Sometimes I’ll just take em both off and don’t gotta worry about it! Gotta keep them kicks clean and crease free!!
On court the Freaks 1’s are absolutely terrible, the traction is slippery unless the court is PERFECT. You will do nothing but wipe to try and maintain traction, outside mine tore on the 2 day of playing in them. They are bad inside and out, in my opinion.
