SO WELL SAID AND TAUGHT! My Father who lives in me, is my total guidance for my life. This is accomplished via meditation of stillness, rest, trust and believe. Sooooo good and thank you Pastor Don.
I found it very hard to read brother Lawrence's 11th letter as he seems to imply that God makes us sick to teach us😢...I spent years believing this causing me to live in fear until I was introduced to the fact that God is our healer ❤
I think for me, a revelation that God is not a "god" per se. Not just some being that is in control of things that happen, but a personable friend, father and a brother. Somebody who genuinely loves me. Maybe then I wouldn't be so against this Christian walk.
Hey Don, is there a reason why you didn't scripture reference to Matthew 6:6? I mean, that's the whole ball o' wax, if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, all of this talk is wonderfully, amazingly right and informative. I got turned on to 6:6 by Trappist Monks, and the next thing I knew, everything in my life started to change. For one thing, I found Digital Cathedral! Wow
No particular reason. When I prepare a teaching I generally use the Scriptures that rise up within me. Your suggestion certainly fits well, it just didn’t jump up in my spirit.
Speak to your. Mountain - AS HE IS WE ARE ALSO … The finished works (reckoned to Gods image) made us “compete” to enable us to be the righteousness of Christ which is who we are all the time - there’s nothing for us to do except believe and Know WHO WE ARE - Psalm82 ye are gods. Selah

He is my best friend and we carry on a running conversation every day.
