Welcome to the sixth episode of Understanding BGP!
Now that we have all of the BGP 'politics' out of the way, we're finally starting the configuration of our base BGP session!
About the series:
In this series, Jeremy Cioara helps you understand BGP at an expert-level, and also show you how BGP helps in multi-carrier situations, which a lot of folks may run in to.

Hey Jeremy, do they quote-unquote "filter" or just summarise all the very many garbage routes u send?
These commands work in the GRT but you have to tweak a bit when using VRFs. Is it the same for Brocade?
Love the ❤️ series!
I have a Question: /30 IP between you and L3.....who gives/decide this IP. You or service provider ? Does this /30 has to be public ip or can i use private ip since it is point to point.
Is there a reason why you only have one subnet with a /24? are you content with only having 254 hosts?
Aren't you afraid that sharing your public IP addresses exposes you to security threats?
