Christ would go to the one who came from the deciples , who honor his body and blood in the bread and wine with great respect, and the one who picked the 27 NT books and that one is Roman Catholic and no other . Decades before the writing of John's Gospel and Epistles, The Council of Jerusalem (Acts 15) with all of the *Jewish born Apostles, Peter, James, Paul* AND THE WHOLE* *JEWISH CHURCH* IN JERUSALEM Had already passed a written decree to the churches to condemn those to taught that Christians were obligated to keep the Sabbath. So, in no place is John's Epistles or the Book of Revelation does it refer to keeping the Sabbath as the Jews alone were commanded. Therefore, we know that the gospel of John, nor any of his epistles 1John, 2John 3John and Revelation is in no way talking about Sabbath keeping.

1 John 4:1....says we are to test "the spirts" as in the teaching of those who claim to be prophets of God. 7TH DAY AVENTISM does not pass the test because you add the "works of the law" to the grace of God, therefore, grace is no longer grace and you must get to heaven on your own good works which is impossible. All Christian Churches teach the commandments of God; however, you can strive to keep the grace, but you can't keep the laws. You are a sinner and must cast yourself upon the grace and mercy of God through Jesus Christ upon repentance of your sins and putting your faith in Jesus Christ.

My parents spiritually abused me not bringing me closer to God but left all priorities to other people but im glad i repented pray alot read my bible alot and have a stronger relationship with my Lord and Savior stronger then it ever was my parents believe in the pressedents more then bible but God blessed me with wisdom to see all happenings and realize He is guiding me therefor my life is in Gods hands

With the many variations of truth and self anointed money grubbing preachers, it becomes a matter of individual faith for the illiterate masses to skip the reading of scripture and believe whatever is their own convenience.
It pleases God for us to worship together in unison. But our salvation is determined by our faith in the sacrifice of Christ and striving to keep His commandments, not the type church we attend.
Where is that found in the Bible? I still believe we should prove all things. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 I believe Jesus is still the savior of the church (Ephesians 5:23). So if you're not in His church, how can you be saved...since he is thr savior of His church? There is a discrepancy in what you say vs what the Bible says.
@@jmcc-lt3lk My comments are meant to point to the fact that going to a Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, etc., is not what saves you. An individual can accept Christ and be baptised to be saved. The church ARE those redeemed in Christ...not the denominations. You could technically never attend a church service and be saved if you believe and are baptised-- though I'm not advocating that.
@mr.g1758 You're right...going to those denominations won't save you because they are not biblical. Jesus only built His church, and there is only one (Eph. 4:4). I know most people think of a building when they say church. However, I do not, nor did I say it. The church is made up of people (1 Cor. 12:27). You saying a person can be saved without attending worship service is another contradiction. A person who is able to attend worship service should attend because the Bible says not to forsake gathering together in Hebrews 10:25. I urge you to speak where the Bible speaks and not give opinions.

It pleases God for us to worship but I could go to church 10,000 times and still be lost unless I asked Christ into my heart, repented, and followed him in baptism. My point is that where you go or what denomination it is is not relevant to one's salvation.

In regard to your original question : Which is God's true church ? You laid it all out very well and I agree with you on every point. I would like to also add that the saints of God are specifically defined in Rev. 14: 12. This verse says that they are "those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." Then Jesus finished His Redemptive Work by raising the dead firstfruits from which He was raised (the Firstborn), Then He sent back the Holy Spirit to redeem those (Jews or Gentiles) who by faith believe He redeemed His firstfruits (the gospel) He did the entire work for all mankind and arranged and appointed it from the beginning. He did for us what was not possible for man to do through the Work of the Messiah to reconcile us back. This is how marvelous His grace is. Anyone denying that God raised Him from the dead saints that slept - then raised them -Matthew 27:52- is still in darkness. The resurrection of the many was prophesied by Simeon -Luke 2:34- from Jeremiah 31:15-17.

The true church of God is the unity of saved people who follow the teachings of Jesus. Where they meet for fellowship is called the church. A group of people who fear God and love one another where they meet make the church. In the bible this church was called Church of God during the time of apostles and they taught same message. @@ccole6492 why was Simons named changed to peter ? In the Old Testament a name change was a significant gesture that person when on to do great things . Also why did Jesus give Peter authority to bind and loose and the keys to the kingdom to forgive sins ,what would be use of that when Peter was going to die out anyway if he didn’t hand it on . And why would Jesus name be based on a Feminine word for rock when Peter is the masculine form . Further, Jesus is portrayed as the builder of the Church, not the building. He says, “I will build my church.” Jesus is “the wise man who built his house upon the rock” (7:24) in Matthew’s Gospel. Once again, it just does not fit the context to have Jesus building the Church upon himself. He’s building it upon Peter

They despise authority of every kind, especially Ecclesiastical authority. 5. They are willing to lie, and cheat in the most outlandish ways, all the while claiming to keep the "10 commandments of God". 6. They refuse baptism to infants, "Which Saves"! They also baptize 2 times - making a mockery of the first baptism and the sacrifice of Christ. 7. They preach meat distinctions from Lev. 11 when the bible makes it clear, MEATS and what you eat have nothing to do with being Christian. 8. They reject the confession and forgiveness of sins when the bible makes it clear that Christ gave men, the power to hear confession and to forgive sins, through the name and authority of Jesus Christ. They mock it and scorn it when it is clearly taught from scripture. 9. They take tithes and offerings of their followers under false pretenses claiming to be spokesmen for God, *when they are no such thing and scarcely know anything about the bible. 10. They all profess to keep the law, but none of them DO! They lie about keeping and paying their tithes, they labor on the Sabbath day hoping no one will notice, they have others labor on the Sabbath day for them, and then tell everyone else how they keep the Sabbath day. 11. Our body is the temple of God just living holy righteous and blameless is my church, I don't need another church, Jesus just wanted our faith be as strong as Peter, whom he called the rock because of his faith. Then you don't what the church is all about if you would have known this term in Greek about the church you won't have said that κυριακος (belonging to the Lord or of the Lord) και εκκlesia the called out one. The Lord himself commanded his called out one to have the fellowship of believers. Also, the Apostles later made it clear that the fellowship of believers is encouraged and Paul's letters do talk about the same thing. The two Sacraments clearly commanded the Lord to be carried on and practice as often as we can ... And now you told us of being independent without the local church then you have not truly believed and saved. My gentle advice to you people is to look for a local church to fellowship. Tell me where you are and will direct you to a nearby local church to go to for Sunday (the Lord's day)

Get busy, you only have 603 more commandments to go. The church as seen in Revelation are the tribulation saints that will face a different dispensation of God's working in the end times. Their keeping the commandments of God will be important in bearing witness to the truth of Jesus's salvation. There will be a very clear line of demarcation as to who are true believers and who are not and their obedience in the face of persecution will be the clear badge of faith.

So I sat in a Church of Christ assembly and the speaker -who could not retell an OT story to save his life - insinuated that the CoC was THE CHURCH and all the others were prostitutes….no they are not. The church is the world-wide group of believers who love the Lord and have been baptized. His Word says He prefers OBEDIENCE over sacrifice. BTW instrumental music is not a salvation issue so I prefer the hymns of old. I have many, many Christian brothers and sisters who are God lovers but attend different churches. When Jesus asked His disciples who men said He (Jesus) was, Peter answered Him "Thou at the Christ, the son of the living God". Jesus replied to Peter that his response was revealed to him by not flesh and blood but by "my Father". It is this revelation (rock) of who the Christ is, that the Church is built on. So the true Church is built on the revelation of who Jesus Christ, the Word of God is built on. Amen! A powerful message finally of truth to those willing to accept this. As quite rightly said in this video, the church is not a building, but the people. There is no true church on earth, this still needs to come - the city of the New Jerusalem. Unfortunately, there are too many who impose themselves on the weak and the gullible who follow false teachings because they believe they have the authority. Their authority is not from God. If this was so, then they would be sure that what they preach and teach is the truth since as said in James 3:1 where not many should be teachers since those who teach will be judged more strictly. However, many pastors will boldly teach their lies to gain profit without fear to know that God will judge them according to what they preach. Those who have the spirit of God, the world does not know. The Pharisees and Sadducees did not recognize Jesus and in fact questioned by saying "Is he not the carpenter's son? (Matthew 13:55-56) This would be the same today with those who have the holy spirit with them. For if one was to teach in spirit and truth that contradicts or challenges a certain denominations own beliefs, then it is more likely they will be banished from the church. There are three examples to give here. One is about Jesus. Too many churches are of the belief that Jesus is God. This is totally false. Jesus is the Son of God - the only begotten meaning Jesus came from God before all of creation hence the reason why Jesus is known as the Alpha and Omega. the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (Revelation 22:13) Another is believing that there will be a pre-tribulation rapture and to make it worse - they say of the church. What church are they talking about? Their own? This is a total false doctrine and no where is scripture is this mentioned. We will all go through the trial which is to come. Jesus made it very clear in Matthew 24 about the disastrous abomination. Jesus said that for the sake of his elect the days will be shortened. Further on Jesus said that when he comes, Jesus will send his angels to gather his elect from the four winds - or in other words from the four corners of the world. Finally, there are Jews as well as Christians who deny the true name of the living God. His name is Yahweh or more likely pronounced YAHWAH and is attested not only in scripture but from archaeological finds where the tetragrammaton comprising the four letters YHWH is attested. To be of one mind can only be through the Holy Spirit which testifies those who speak in truth.

We are coming to realise that the entire universe is built upon electric/spiritual laws. FYI, you'll notice that the word "Ghost" and the word "Spirit" are used to describe God's Spirit. The Catholic influenced translators injected Ghost in place of Spirit. Why would they do that? The church ARE those redeemed in Christ...not the denominations. You could technically never attend a church service and be saved if you believe and are baptised-- though I'm not advocating that.

I know most people think of a building when they say church. However, I do not, nor did I say it. The church is made up of people (1 Cor. 12:27). You saying a person can be saved without attending worship service is another contradiction. A person who is able to attend worship service should attend because the Bible says not to forsake gathering together in Hebrews 10:25. I urge you to speak where the Bible speaks and not give opinions.

In regard to your original question : Which is God's true church ? You laid it all out very well and I agree with you on every point. I would like to also add that the saints of God are specifically defined in Rev. 14: 12. This verse says that they are "those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." This is why I have started reading and listening to my new Church of Tomorrow's World, I thank you for helping me learn the word of Jesus Christ, and God the Father .
The true church of God is the unity of saved people who follow the teachings of Jesus. Where they meet for fellowship is called the church. A group of people who fear God and love one another where they meet make the church. In the bible this church was called Church of God during the time of apostles and they taught same message. They had same faith, same baptism and same spirit but today we have different faiths and baptism.

Also why did Jesus give Peter authority to bind and loose and the keys to the kingdom to forgive sins ,what would be use of that when Peter was going to die out anyway if he didn’t hand it on . And why would Jesus name be based on a Feminine word for rock when Peter is the masculine form . Further, Jesus is portrayed as the builder of the Church, not the building. He says, “I will build my church.” Jesus is “the wise man who built his house upon the rock” (7:24) in Matthew’s Gospel. These people are "Remnants" of the defunct and failed Armstrong churches, who *prophesied falsely* so many times, you can't count them all. They have no idea what the gospel is.

3. They preach that Christ never *commanded anyone to worship Him on Sunday,* when it's the *very first thing you see , CHRIST "APPOINTED" THEM by Mary and the Apostles* in Matt. 28:16-17 and AGAIN IN Luke 24:52-53
4. They despise authority of every kind, especially Ecclesiastical authority.
5. They are willing to lie, and cheat in the most outlandish ways, all the while claiming to keep the "10 commandments of God".
6. They refuse baptism to infants, "Which Saves"! They also baptize 2 times - making a mockery of the first baptism and the sacrifice of Christ.
7. They preach meat distinctions from Lev. 11 when the bible makes it clear, MEATS and what you eat have nothing to do with being Christian.
8. They reject the confession and forgiveness of sins when the bible makes it clear that Christ gave men, the power to hear confession and to forgive sins, through the name and authority of Jesus Christ. They mock it and scorn it when it is clearly taught from scripture.
9. They take tithes and offerings of their followers under false pretenses claiming to be spokesmen for God, *when they are no such thing and scarcely know anything about the bible.
10. They all profess to keep the law, but none of them DO! They lie about keeping and paying their tithes, they labor on the Sabbath day hoping no one will notice, they have others labor on the Sabbath day for them, and then tell everyone else how they keep the Sabbath day.
11. They preach you don't have to worry about repenting of sin in "this liftetime because, you will ANOTHER LIFE TIME TO REPENT IN! YEP, THAT'S RIGHT! THEY PREACH YOU HAVE 2 LIFE TIMES TO BE SAVED!

Where is this church?
Get busy, you only have 603 more commandments to go. The church as seen in Revelation are the tribulation saints that will face a different dispensation of God's working in the end times. Their keeping the commandments of God will be important in bearing witness to the truth of Jesus's salvation. There will be a very clear line of demarcation as to who are true believers and who are not and their obedience in the face of persecution will be the clear badge of faith.

BTW instrumental music is not a salvation issue so I prefer the hymns of old. I have many, many Christian brothers and sisters who are God lovers but attend different churches. When Jesus asked His disciples who men said He (Jesus) was, Peter answered Him "Thou at the Christ, the son of the living God". Jesus replied to Peter that his response was revealed to him by not flesh and blood but by "my Father". It is this revelation (rock) of who the Christ is, that the Church is built on. So the true Church is built on the revelation of who Jesus Christ, the Word of God is built on. I thank God every day for his plan because my daughter Becca she lives right now in heaven. Twelve years ago, Becca died at the age of 16. Jesus took her up to heaven, and she has a great life now. I know it's only a matter of time we will be together again.

Amen! A powerful message finally of truth to those willing to accept this. As quite rightly said in this video, the church is not a building, but the people. There is no true church on earth, this still needs to come - the city of the New Jerusalem. Unfortunately, there are too many who impose themselves on the weak and the gullible who follow false teachings because they believe they have the authority. Their authority is not from God. If this was so, then they would be sure that what they preach and teach is the truth since as said in James 3:1 where not many should be teachers since those who teach will be judged more strictly. However, many pastors will boldly teach their lies to gain profit without fear to know that God will judge them according to what they preach. Those who have the spirit of God, the world does not know. The Pharisees and Sadducees did not recognize Jesus and in fact questioned by saying "Is he not the carpenter's son? (Matthew 13:55-56) This would be the same today with those who have the holy spirit with them. For if one was to teach in spirit and truth that contradicts or challenges a certain denominations own beliefs, then it is more likely they will be banished from the church. There are three examples to give here. One is about Jesus. Too many churches are of the belief that Jesus is God. This is totally false. Jesus is the Son of God - the only begotten meaning Jesus came from God before all of creation hence the reason why Jesus is known as the Alpha and Omega. the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (Revelation 22:13) Another is believing that there will be a pre-tribulation rapture and to make it worse - they say of the church. What church are they talking about? Their own? This is a total false doctrine and no where is scripture is this mentioned. We will all go through the trial which is to come. Jesus made it very clear in Matthew 24 about the disastrous abomination. Jesus said that for the sake of his elect the days will be shortened. Further on Jesus said that when he comes, Jesus will send his angels to gather his elect from the four winds - or in other words from the four corners of the world. Finally, there are Jews as well as Christians who deny the true name of the living God. His name is Yahweh or more likely pronounced YAHWAH and is attested not only in scripture but from archaeological finds where the tetragrammaton comprising the four letters YHWH is attested. To be of one mind can only be through the Holy Spirit which testifies those who speak in truth.

The defense you are making is still with the churches believing that in them you will find salvation. Salvation comes from God alone and through his son Jesus. Already, you have made a grave error which is all too common to believe that Jesus is God. Many times Jesus explained that he was doing the will of the one who sent him. Who then sent him - himself? Jesus prayed to his Father on certain occasions. It would have made no sense and totally illogical for Jesus to have been praying to himself. Rationality appears to completely go out the window when obviously it is so apparent that Jesus is the Son of God - in other words God's son. There are plenty examples in scripture. The Holy Spirit is a divine power sent by God and is only known to those who receive it. Only through God can the truth be known which is why there are the divisions that prevail in the world.
Revelation 2 and 3 clearly sho ws Jesus does not choose a particular church assembly but choose the individual having an intimate relationship like a husband and a wife - intimate relationship means closeness and affectionate and merciful and self-sacrifice towards others including your enemies who hates you - a tough standard and expectation to show the narrow road to eternal life

We are coming to realise that the entire universe is built upon electric/spiritual laws. Almighty God has declared this from the beginning...even the dust He made man out of is a collection of atoms and electromagnetic laws...so it is wise to listen to the man who showed us these electromagnetic laws before we could even begin to understand them. It's power of repair, rebirth, and resurrection, is applicable to us if we value those laws and Jesus Christ is those laws, made flesh.

FYI, you'll notice that the word "Ghost" and the word "Spirit" are used to describe God's Spirit. The Catholic influenced translators injected Ghost in place of Spirit. Why would they do that? The reason is simple: First of all the word Ghost is an English/German word. These languages did not exist when these scriptures were written. Using the word "Ghost" is the popes attempt to validate the false doctrine of the trinity. Ghost is associated with a PHYSICAL body the SPIRIT is not. Read what Christ told the Apostle Thomas about the difference.

And if you read the early church fathers you will see that Peter acts inpersona Christi. Why was there only one church for 1500 years before the revolution aka the reformation???
