I use an old crockpot with white vinegar and a little water.to soak hardware then use a toothbrush and fine steel wool. Works great! Saves a lot of elbow grease.
Fantastic videography and presentation! Good job guys! Neiman I thought I was watching the beginning of a hallmark movie!… might be something to think about for you guys to do?! Lauren, you are so sweet to watch and I can tell you are an expert at what you're doing. You're so thorough! Love watching you guys. Thank you for sharing your world with us!
I know you marked the drawers for placement but I think they weremjn wrong to begin with. If you look at the grain of the raw wood, if you switch the top and middle drawers the grain pattern wouldmlook better. It does form a pattern! I'm just a little OCD! 😂
Terrific, and congratulations on your new endeavors. I've been watching from the beginning, and I feel like a proud mama of the both of you. Blessings and continued success to you both.❤
I restore vintage Coach handbags that have brass hardware. I like Wenol brass polish. It's thick like toothpaste and works better than Brasso. I also use a dremel tool with the red or green wool (not sure what they are made from) buffers. They look like little balls of steel wool. I gave up using steel wool and primarily use the dremel tool. Much quicker than using steel wool. I use the 0000 steel wool or 000 when I do use it for spots the dremel can't get too on the tiny hardware pieces. Wishing you much success with your new shop. You have an incredible sense of color and design!
Letting the hardware soak in vinegar and water first to clean it would be better to do first. Then use brasso. Helps you work smarter and not harder. 😊 Love your work.
Lauren, check the wood grain direction on the 3 center drawers. I think the top drawer should be in the middle. So that the 6 wood panels alternate? Just an observation. The piece is very unusual.
I have been watching since almost the beginning of your journey. Such an inspiration in all aspects of flipping knowledge, growth of your business and realizing your dreams. Thank you!
I had to stop the video and comment right away and say that this video was done so well here in the beginning that I thought it was a commercial and I wasn’t paying much attention, Lol I soon realized and had to rewind! ❤❤❤
Loved this Lauren and I have a dresser very much like that in my garage. I am wanting to try redoing it and making it a side table in the family room for storage. I hope I can do that. Love what you have done there today and the commercial for the contest was awesome.......as was your beginning.....pretty cool! Best of luck and it will be fun to see what you do next! Blessings
Thank you for showing the corner bondo application. I have a drawer that I need to fix and I haven't seen a video from other youtubers with a corner application. Thank you Thank you, Thank you!
I love a paint the thing I love most about it is it is recycled paint. It goes on beautifully. Has a great finish and very durable. I do wish they had more colors but what I have used of the colors. I absolutely love.
This is a 100% wonderful dresser, it came out so good, OMG !!!!!!!!!!! wow !!!!!!!! I love the 2 tone wood, I love it, awesome that this is recycled paint. I also use recycled paints , thanks
Love love love your channel, you both are so kind and talented. I think your Christmas tree should have all doll furniture ornaments! Just add some green and red bows and hang!! 💖💖
Hello, Lauren I have been following you for quiet some while. Furniture flipping has been a hobby of mine whenever I have free time for work. I seen that you are hosting "From Recycle to Remarkable" contest and I would love to participate. Just had a quick question in regarding to the category "Best Dresser" I have this old piece that was given to me from my grandmother and would like to use that piece to be able to participate in that category? Would I be able to join or do all pieces for each category need to be purchased with poof of receipt? Hope to hear back from you soon, so I can start my project my grandmother would be so happy to see the aftermath of that piece.
What an amazing improvement to the traditional 12 Days of Flipmas! So excited to see all the projects that flippers share. The flip you did turned out awesome! So excited for your successes. B~}
Love your flips, is the Up paint can be used to paint my kitchen cabinets or the comparisons between the beyond paint love to hear your feedback on this one 😊
Haha who paints with a sweater and good pants on? Looking great. I just finished an old tall skinny 6 drawer dresser. Wish I knew about this contest 2 months ago... I forgot to take before picts.
Love the nice, new modern dresser! Can be used as an entertainment center or even a dining room buffet. So I wonder if the person who wins the Up Paint competition will be one of your mentee followers 😊
Adding Leather and Spice furniture salve to a Champaign style inspired dresser seems like a perfect choice. I know you numbered the drawers as you removed them, but I think they are in the wrong order. It would look better if the wood grain patterns alternated between vertical and horizontal. I think the top and middle drawers should change places.
I noticed there are limited color choices on the Up Paint selection unless you can use the latex paint on furniture. The Michaels store in Lincoln I online only has four or five colors.
It always amazes me how you can come up with such unique ideas for each piece- it looks gorgeous, very elegant but homely and soft at the same time. I’m in Uk so can’t get Up paint 😢
Pls explain Surfprep value. 😮$300 to $800?! You’re not the only flipper I see using it but the prices are crazy for mostly a hobby for me. Do they sponsor you? Because you and several flippers mention them by name in almost every episode. If you’re not being compensated, you should, and also are there products just as good but less pricey that you know of?
That’s a very nice job you did! I’m not sure how you would get $600 for it tho. When I go on Facebook I see very nice dressers for sale and people are generally asking anywhere from $50-$100 on average for wooden furniture.
A question that arises every time I watch your videos and I watch most of them 😊, is: why do you clean the surfaces that you’re about to sand off? Thanks for the amazing tips!
The opening was awesome and the whole video was so professional! Just a hint…..years ago, I watched HGTV, Rehab Addict and she cleaned her old brass hardware in a old crock pot and I’m not sure if it was water or other liquid…so check her out! Your hardware could be “cooking” while you paint!
I use an old crockpot with white vinegar and a little water.to soak hardware then use a toothbrush and fine steel wool. Works great! Saves a lot of elbow grease.
I’m OBSESSED with watching this sweet girl cycle and give new life to worn out & dates pieces. Keep at it!

thanks for pointing that out 😂 I will get them switched asap before photos!
It's so obvious when you see it isn't it? Especially when Lauren was wearing her checkerboard jumper.
I noticed it too! Glad u said something cuz I had no clue how to word it.
Love this one the wood touch is gorgeous
I thought the same.
I agree. I noticed it right away. The top drawer grain goes the opposite direction & would look better in the middle.
Wow! That opening sequence was shot like a movie! Very professional. I'm guessing that's Neiman's handiwork. Great skills!
yep! my idea, Neiman’s filming & Harrison’s editing! 🤩 we make a great team!!
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher You do! Please do more of that! It was hugely entertaining for me, gave me a tiny feeling of film noir
Terrific, and congratulations on your new endeavors. I've been watching from the beginning, and I feel like a proud mama of the both of you. Blessings and continued success to you both.❤
Love that! Thanks for watching!
A firm bristle Toothbrush is great for cleaning hardware and getting into tough spots

definitely possible! I only put them back where I found them cause it fit 😂 I might do that tho! thanks!
fabulous transformation! I love it.
I have been watching since almost the beginning of your journey. Such an inspiration in all aspects of flipping knowledge, growth of your business and realizing your dreams. Thank you!
So happy you are doing flips. That is what I enjoy most.
What a great, and truly beautiful transformation. Loveing the natural wood touches on the dresser. It really modernized the whole piece😊😊😊
It’s such a great thing to have someone willing to teach and allow others to learn to do what you do. Th am you for that!
I had to stop the video and comment right away and say that this video was done so well here in the beginning that I thought it was a commercial and I wasn’t paying much attention, Lol
I soon realized and had to rewind!
❤❤❤
Wow, lovely flip. That salve made the drawer wood so pretty!
Great job and I like how you styled it. It will really appeal to someone who has a very clean aesthetic.
Love the “after” look of the dresser!
Absolutely LOVE your channel, your team, your work and how you explain EVERYTHING ❤️🎄
thanks Robin! 🤩 glad you enjoy!

thank you for watching! be sure to get entered into the competition with that piece of yours! sounds like it will be quite the transformation!!
That intro is gold…😂🥇
Thank you for showing the corner bondo application. I have a drawer that I need to fix and I haven't seen a video from other youtubers with a corner application. Thank you Thank you, Thank you!
for sure!!
Kudos on the awesome new editing! Love the contrast between the wood and paint.
I love the integration of the new content. I always love the flip process. The contest is a bit of added fun. Good work on the vidoe
glad you enjoyed!
Drawer pulls are beautiful.
agreed!
A very nice work. It looks great. I hope you got what you want for it
Hulda from Puerto Rico 🎉Lots of Blessings
It is great 🎉🎉🎉🎉love the concept.
Stunning reveal. I had a dresser with those handles. It was my first big purchase I made when I was in my 20s, I'm 67 now.❤😊
I love a paint the thing I love most about it is it is recycled paint. It goes on beautifully. Has a great finish and very durable. I do wish they had more colors but what I have used of the colors. I absolutely love.
hope to see you enter the competition! 😊
Loved how you filmed yourself x3! A Lauren clone. Looked very cool! The piece is gorgeous! Great taste!
thank you! that’s our editor Harrison who does that! he’s the bomb!
This is a 100% wonderful dresser, it came out so good, OMG !!!!!!!!!!! wow !!!!!!!! I love the 2 tone wood, I love it, awesome that this is recycled paint. I also use recycled paints , thanks
thank you SO much! 😊 sweet! dont forget to get entered into our competition with Up Paint!
Love love love your channel, you both are so kind and talented. I think your Christmas tree should have all doll furniture ornaments! Just add some green and red bows and hang!! 💖💖
I must know, where the wooden mushroom 🍄 is from!!!
You guys are the cutest ❤
Ok thanks for your help, but I will stick with the beyond paint so I don’t have to do the extra work.
I thought the point of Chalk paint was so that you didn’t have to do all the sanding and priming????
LOVE this transformation.
Lauren that dresser turned out awesome.
Beautiful 💯💕👍🇯🇲
Your creativity is beautiful
YES! Flipmas is back and the cute headband
woohoo!
I really like this flip - white with wood and original hardware!
very classic!
Awesomeness ❤
Love the new videos but Lauren I gotta know where are those tan pants from haha I love them 😂

What a unique looking piece. Love it! 😍
Merry Flipmas!!! Beautiful piece.😊🎉❤
I forgot to say this Neuman the intro was awesome. You are a true artist. ❤😊
I just got a deal with those type of pulls for 13 99. Thinking about entering
What an amazing improvement to the traditional 12 Days of Flipmas! So excited to see all the projects that flippers share. The flip you did turned out awesome! So excited for your successes. B~}
Could you do a video on must have tools and supplies!!!
Thanks for inspiration 💕
The best gift l got for Christmas was l found your Company on utube.
Love your flips, is the Up paint can be used to paint my kitchen cabinets or the comparisons between the beyond paint love to hear your feedback on this one 😊
you could use up paint on cabinets but you’d need to sand, prime, paint, & top coat 😊
Haha who paints with a sweater and good pants on? Looking great. I just finished an old tall skinny 6 drawer dresser. Wish I knew about this contest 2 months ago... I forgot to take before picts.
Your music is so soothing.
🤩
I’m going to try the new up paint! I will let you know how it turns out😊
love it! hope to see you enter the contest!
What ratio of Simple Green to water do you use? I tend to have a soapy surface left over.
Use a soft bristle toothbrush with the cleaner
thanks! the steel wool worked great too!
Love your channel
thanks! glad you enjoy!
Looks beautiful!
Love the nice, new modern dresser! Can be used as an entertainment center or even a dining room buffet. So I wonder if the person who wins the Up Paint competition will be one of your mentee followers 😊
we shall see! everyone is eligible to enter 😊
Can we have an update on the airb and b
its going well 😊

Thanks a lot 😊
Excellent job

yep - I would suggest using the chalk paint! there are 5 colors available 😊
It always amazes me how you can come up with such unique ideas for each piece- it looks gorgeous, very elegant but homely and soft at the same time. I’m in Uk so can’t get Up paint 😢
That turned out great! So excited for your Flipmas, loved it last year.! I have never used Up paint, how is the texture/brushstrokes?
it evens out like a dream! I dont even need to use a mister bottle!
Love this!!

Is there a deadline for the contest? And all we have to do is tag our flipping video to yours???..😮lol😊..😂
I’m sure this has been asked, but I didn’t see the question for the under $100 what if you got it for free how do you prove that?
Hey there! If this is the case be sure to join either best dresser or the flippers choice category 😁
Got it. Thank you for responding so quickly.
A question that arises every time I watch your videos and I watch most of them 😊, is: why do you clean the surfaces that you’re about to sand off? Thanks for the amazing tips!
Its best to clean first and get rid of all grime/oils/dirt so it doesnt get grinded down into the surface when sanding (: thanks for watching!
Can I compete even if i live in Sweden?
use steel wool
done (:
1.5x speed makes you sound so much more confident. So weird, but it really does. At least 1.25x speed. Just try it to see what I mean!! 😁
Is Michael's the only place to purchase Up Paint? That is all I'm seeing on line. (Is Michael's)
yes or you can also purchase at uppaint.com
Por favor colocar no modo tradutor automático
Just wondering are you selecting a winner from each category so you then have three winners
yes! that is correct!
When you use Brasso and your piece has crevices you can use a toothbrush. The result is much better than doing it with a paper towel
The opening was awesome and the whole video was so professional! Just a hint…..years ago, I watched HGTV, Rehab Addict and she cleaned her old brass hardware in a old crock pot and I’m not sure if it was water or other liquid…so check her out! Your hardware could be “cooking” while you paint!
thank you!! I have boiled mine in vinegar and that works like a charm too 😊
"Before" and "After' should be flipped...😉
oopsy 😆
❤👍
It needs a stand....
I like the hardware better before you cleaned it
No don’t refinish it cos no one uses golden oak. Pain or stain, give it an update, the legs look like 20th century so maybe that would give you ideas.
It seems like all your videos as of late are just ads😢
not sure what you mean here?
All those people who unsubed because of the past couple vids missing flipmass. 🤡🤡🤡
😂😂 so true
What is you sanding brand and which vaccum you connected?
Hey there check out the information in the description.
The surfprep sanding system!
