Arias' 48 Hours interview is very telling. Clearly she was thrilled to be on national television, enjoying the limelight immensely. Light-hearted and happy-go-lucky, she had no sadness in her cold heart for Travis. She was trying to charm the public into admiring her but no compassionate person could watch that interview and not despise her.

The concept she implemented of facing the jurors when answering every question is very odd, disconcerting, and off-putting. She is looking forward at the DA, gets asked a question, and then turns her head every single time? If anything, she needed to appear less weird, less repellent - and facing / staring down the jury when giving every answer is just odd. It takes a liar (admittedly) and turns her into a person who is specifically facing the jurors and lying right in their faces.

I'm starting to think when Travis told Jodi that she scammed him, was in-reference to the money she owed him for the car. Listen to the conversation at 43:40 regarding the car, and how "loose" Travis was with the amount she needed to pay each month. She mentions that Travis had began getting on her about these payments, so why would he do that? I don't think she paid him anything for that car, especially after she blew up the engine. She seemed to always be in debt, and had very little money, so I can't see her paying him for a car that she doesn't even have, even though she ruined it. They had an agreement, with extremely low payments, and once it was paid off, he'd then sign the title over to her. He could've easily sold that car to someone else and made some money for himself, but he didn't because he wanted to help her out. I can see why he'd tell her that she "scammed" him because he finally realized that she wasn't going to pay him for the car *SHE* ruined!

She clearly choreographed the nude photo shoot to make Travis as vulnerable as possible: wet, naked, unarmed, the element of surprise in Arias' favor: she wanted to preserve the events, too: photograph his face close up just before plunging the knife in.
One of my favorite parts of this piece of her testimony is during the time she and Martinez are sparring, and her "brain scrambles." He asks her about her memory, and at one point she responds, "I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE QUESTION, I HAVE A PROBLEM IF I DON'T REMEMBER THE ANSWER." Nice Freudian slip. Arias' 48 Hours interview is very telling. Clearly she was thrilled to be on national television, enjoying the limelight immensely. Light-hearted and happy-go-lucky, she had no sadness in her cold heart for Travis. The concept she implemented of facing the jurors when answering every question is very odd, disconcerting, and off-putting. She is looking forward at the DA, gets asked a question, and then turns her head every single time? If anything, she needed to appear less weird, less repellent - and facing / staring down the jury when giving every answer is just odd. It takes a liar (admittedly) and turns her into a person who is specifically facing the jurors and lying right in their faces.

I'm starting to think when Travis told Jodi that she scammed him, was in-reference to the money she owed him for the car. Listen to the conversation at 43:40 regarding the car, and how "loose" Travis was with the amount she needed to pay each month. She mentions that Travis had began getting on her about these payments, so why would he do that? I don't think she paid him anything for that car, especially after she blew up the engine. She seemed to always be in debt, and had very little money, so I can't see her paying him for a car that she doesn't even have, even though she ruined it. They had an agreement, with extremely low payments, and once it was paid off, he'd then sign the title over to her. He could've easily sold that car to someone else and made some money for himself, but he didn't because he wanted to help her out. I can see why he'd tell her that she "scammed" him because he finally realized that she wasn't going to pay him for the car *SHE* ruined!

I respectfully disagree, Catherine. The fact that she so obviously stole the gun used to kill Travis is enough to prove premeditation. Assuming this thing that calls itself Jodi Arias has actually told the truth about "finding Travis' gun in the closet", why - if it was HIS gun - did she elect to take it with her and dispose of it? The fact that the stolen weapon and the one used in the murder was an odd caliber gun - .25 - is damning evidence of premeditation. She went there to kill.
