中国官方认定的中国最高学府为北京大学，北京大学在传统基础学科，理科，文科，经济学，管理学，商科，以及医学都排在中国第一。而且北京大学的新工科发展也很好。综合实力可以说稳稳的top！北京大学每年招收全国最多的省级高考状元，平均录取难度分数线也多年稳居全国第一。北大光华管理学院可以说是高考状元收割机。
中国民间普遍认为清华大学北京大学是一个级别，因为清华的工科遥遥领先，在中国是第一，包括传统工科和新工科。而且清华的经济学管理学商学也处于优势地位。清华过去文科理科比较弱，现在因为巨大经费优势和招生优势，也发展到了全国前三的地步。可以说没有弱点，综合实力可以说和北大不相上下。另外由于中国很多的政府官员出身清华，更加让清华有了第二党校的美誉。
从第三名开始就有很多不同说法，但是无论哪所学校，和清北的差距都是巨大的。因为清北毕业，在中国会被人非常尊敬并且获得极大的就业优势择偶优势。从第三名开始就远远没有这种效果。
一般而言，第三名从复旦大学，浙江大学，上海交通大学中选出。三所大学各有优势，但是他们的优势不大，中国科学技术大学，南京大学，中国人民大学也有第三名的实力😂
以上是中国大学的前八名，可以分成两个集团。
至于9-15名，就更加实力接近不分伯仲了。所以没办法分出谁更好，主要看你要学什么专业。我认为这些学校可以排在9-15。哈尔滨工业大学，西安交通大学，南开大学，北京航空航天大学，武汉大学，中山大学，华中科技大学，当然以上信息仅代表个人观点。曾经我是一个经常混迹于中国大学论坛的人，并且我本人也毕业于其中一所😊
