I was active duty in the USCG for 25 years did two tours in Miami, my first tour right out of boot camp was on a 110 foot patrol boat out of Miami Beach, For 2.5 years all our patrols were in the Bahamas we did about 280 days a year underway. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I can t wait to go back kinda like what your doing in this video. My second tour was at the air station in Opa Locka as a rescue swimmer.

I lived in y’all’s area for 16yr and recently moved to Tennessee. Neve got a chance to make the crossing by boat. Still on my bucket list!! The envy I have right now is massive!!! Brother, I miss the days of leaving In the am out of pelican harbor in ft Pierce to old Bahama bay. Back in o4, o5 there was a burnt boat at the entrance. John Travolta's boat was there. Sean Connery's boat octopussy was there and we ran 2 boats a 42 egg, half Moon and a 54 egg, lucky 29. Mr b was the captain. Good times. Bring tarence the harbor man some chicken and steak. Life was good. Great video guys.

Congratulations on your onaga (queen snapper) birthday fish! I got a 7#er last Sunday. A shark got a 15#er, left the head for us. Great for soup. We got a 70# ahi last Sunday, 14# skipjacks. Tight lines

Excellent video. Been to the Islands a few times . Beautiful places and even more beautiful people and really friendly. Best Caribbean meal I ever had was in a home with the restaurant in the living room where they would cook your catch for you. I had the house specialty which was seafood jambalaya. A spicy dish that had all kinds of seafood. The flavor was the best and not over bearing with the different flavors of seafood. This was on Eleuthera.

Just a suggestion, maybe you could get a portable butane stove or grill for your boat. That way, you can do catch, clean and cook on your boat. Especially when you're far from land or sand bars.
