In no form or way was this video made to disrespect anybody. Unity is definitely something we should all strive for but I do believe that we can’t walk around thinking all Africans are okay with all American and vice Versa and I strongly believe the only way to fix the hidden problems is to put them on the table and fix them.
Thank you btw for the new subscribers and all the girls social media’s are in the bio alongside mine x 🇬🇳

I don’t think the girls are ignorant for expressing their opinions. At the end of the day whether you’re African or “African American” we were all taught and forced to hate our skin colour, and to hate where we come from, and to even hate our own people. I believe that we have all suffered equally from slavery whether or not you were taken away. Even up to this day we are still suffering. However It is now up to us to unite and love each other and embrace where we come from. Remember that power comes from unity❤️
BTW I really enjoyed this video keep making more!!!❤️

What I don't like most about Africans is how we're divided. We go to war with each other but treat outsiders like our own, in fact, they put them up higher. That's why we fell as a continent. We could have been united Africa. 🤦🏾‍♀️👏🏾

This made me cry happy and sad tears. I’m AA and I wish I had a connection to my mother country. It’s hard being over here in the US and not knowing what our culture is. We have no country to truly claim. We don’t know our native tongue. We are just really a group of people pretty much creating our own traditions and cultures because we know nothing else. Seems like we aren’t accepted here or there. It truly breaks my heart. I was first told my roots were in Eq Guinea but I took another test this year and it said Senegal. I just wish as a people we could connect with each other on a real level, without the judgements and criticisms and love and learn from one another. Regardless of where we’re from I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU LADIES! ❤️

I’m very light skinned. My family went through slavery and all stayed in Louisiana/Arkansas area of the USA. We took our dna test even though we know we have african family because we don’t have any connection to them and wanted to know more about who are we. The ancestry test allowed us to connect us with people who also took the test in our family that still live in Africa in Nigeria and Benin 😂 my mom is in high 90s percentage as an african American and I’m 86% we found people in our family tree we never knew about and they’re Fulani and still live over in Nigeria today. We’ve managed to talk to them a bit and it’s so different how our cultures are. I used to be one of the people who was ashamed to be black because I grew up surrounded by white people with straight hair. Even though I’m 86% majority african there is still that little bit of European blood in there and I clung to it because it was all I know and I’m very light skinned enough to pass as traditionally mixed. Once I met my family and was able to learn about what being african from Nigeria and specifically what being Fulani means, I started trying to learn the culture and the more I learn the more things seem to fit. I fit in like I never have before and I’ve never felt more whole or been happier. African Americans are 100% the same people, some of us are just a bit lost. They will come around when they realize where they fit ☺️❤️

Y’all as a person who was raised proudly African American, we’ve had countless of Back to Africa and liberation movements. Not just recently. There is an admitted divide between cultures on both sides (as demonstrated by your homegirl). But there’s always been love among the woke. But yes add some perspective. My grandma traced her lineage literally up to the slave ship and it stopped there. I traced my other grandmothers lineage and got distracted by run away slave advertisements and white people. It’s not that “now being African is cool.” We’re literally over here breaking generational curses and healing from trauma. Bridging that divide is included.

If you think about it, black Panthers wasn't that good. They mixed our cultures like we were just one place. It was kind of sad at the end when they said they are proud to be from just there country and not Africa as a whole, Because before y'all we're ”Nigerian, ” or ”Liberian” y'all we're just tribes. Before my family was Liberian we were Kpelle, Bassa, and vai. These names were given by white men.

Wow the African American part was like wow very Bad How do we act white. We don’t feel any type of way about Africans we actually don’t have any bad feeling we feel like you guys don’t want us to be apart of your culture like the woman in the shades said. And I’m not sure how she wants us to have knowledge and know African culture when we were not taught it. In America we do have a culture it’s rude to say we don’t we were stolen from our born culture beaten and family’s torn apart we had to start from scratch and build our own culture. And it is Just as important to us as your is to you.and speaking to the reason why “all of a sudden” we found interest is because of social media we have more ways to see you guys an your culture before the only images of Africans we had if you didn’t know one personally was those commercials asking for us to send money for starving kids or National Geographic documentaries about African tribes. Now we see you On Ig looking and acting pretty much just like us, and we felt a kinship but it feels like we’re mostly met with the feelings of the young lady in the shades we never thought we were better than you guys we didn’t have knowledge of how you guys live how you go up really had no way to know that it’s pretty much the same so I think you guys should make some connections with some African-Americans and they can share their experiencesWith you and then you can share yours with them and we can clear things up instead of having this whole misconception anyway much peace and 💗

Applaud yourself if you are one who is still knowledgeable enough to know that ALL Black is Black and the problem is NOT your fellow black brother! That will by the way make you a minority of black Americans who have that reasoning. Instead of acting like where you come from as a black person makes you preferential in any way. Facts remain facts, you are Racist to your own!. And about saying you think "we" are lit, we don't need your validation.!!!!

The mindsets that a lot of the women have in this discussion towards African Americans are very disrespectful. You can’t generalize a culture because of one bad experience. I personally don’t see an abundance of people trying to “switch up” because of Afro beats rising presence in America, but if they are celebrating that genre and becoming more self aware why not embrace them? It is very disrespectful to deny someone of their ethnicity by saying their not “black” enough. You all may think that African Americans don’t like you, but there’s many African Americans that feel like you all don’t like them. Maybe it would be good to have a self aware African American on your channel not only to bring a different perspective, but to offer defense against claims like the ones made here. If I was an African American and did not know any African people, this video would help me to justify staying away from Africans. Anyways sending love and good vibes 💞
P.S. The printer joke was mad disrespectful.

#Yoruba use to call themselves Aku meaning #Akuibe or #Akusibe as the biblical #Jacob(Israel). When #Yoruba have twins that is why they always make the last of the twins the elder, other Aku are in Senegambia and the Creols in Sierra leone. Yoruba was never the name the people but the language and was later changed by Samuel Ajayi Crowther from Aku to Yoruba to please the Europeans so we can forget our origin. Yoruba thus means Yerubbal meaning “Ati she eruba bale” that is the people cause baal terrible fear when they destroyed his evil alter. Yoruban also linked with King Yeroboam “great people), to remind them of the time they left Israel.
