  • Femke Bol JUST DESTROYED Her Competition CHANGES EVERYTHING!
Yes, you heard that right-she just set a championship record, leaving her competitors in the dust,. With only a few weeks before the 2024 Paris Olympics, Femke Bol has been steadily asserting her dominance in the 400-meter hurdles. After clinching her first world title in the 400-meter hurdles and delivering a sensational anchor leg to secure gold in the women's 4x400-meter relay at the 2023 Budapest World Championships, Bol continued her dominance into 2024. The 24-year-old shattered her own 400-meter indoor world record at the Dutch Nationals before breaking it again in the World Indoor Championships final in Glasgow, clocking 49.1 seconds. Not stopping there, she anchored the Dutch women's 4x400-meter relay team to another gold.
Bol then began her outdoor campaign in the Olympic year by securing a spot in the Paris 2024 mixed 4x400-meter relay at the World Relays in the Bahamas. The Dutch quartet broke the championship record, which had stood for seven years, with a time of 3:12.16. However, as the World Athletics Relays Bahamas 2024 concluded, Team USA claimed victory in the 4x400 mixed relay with a time of 3:10.73, while Bol's team finished second at 3:11.45.

More likely than not, Femke will be a great athlete in the right place at the wrong time. It happens in sports where this is a great, but a rare breed greater. Peyton Manning probably would have won 6 Super Bowls if Tom Brady wasn't there. Roger Federer beat out several greats who could have had incredible runs. Other than injury, I just can't see anyone beating Sydney in the hurdles, and if she was running to 400m, Femke could be in trouble there too, although Sydney hasn't focused on that even near as much as Femke. It's crazy to say that seeing how great Femke is, but, it's all about timing.

Femke ran 51.45 a year ago. She is faster and stronger now than she was then. I expect she is quite capable of a sub 51 seconds 400h this year. The Olympic final could be very exciting. The point of this video is to get people excited to see what happens. It’s good for the sport.
Sidney is amazing and so is Femke. I don’t know of any other 400h runners that can compete with either of them, but if someone can it would make for an even more exciting race. This will definitely be one of the races that will get a lot of attention. It’s good for Sidney and for Femke.
