If you turn the tab slightly at an angle, then press firmly with your thumb, it tears and creates a crater at the top. Had a buddy show me that once and I can’t stop doing it now.
You forgot to mention the enlarged hole. When you first crack it you push down on the tab to make the drink hole bigger. It’s for better flow and faster consumption rate. Seen mostly at college frat parties.

The purpose of this is to create a hump on the inside of the can for the beer to flow up and over so it shoots down your throat even faster.
The "side winder" tilt was something I started doing back in the days of underage 30 pack parties so I could easily find which beer was mine if I set it down. Still doing it now in my 30's.

I drank gallons of Rolling Rock in Latrobe. It was 25 cents a pint, fresh and ice cold. Brewed right up the street. I prefer local/micro but the price was right and it is a enjoyable lager. I prefer a IPA or porter, though.

In Europe many countries have deposit system where when you buy you pay extra amount for the can/bottle and then you return it and get that money back (for recycling purposes), so the dent makes me anxious as in my mind I scream "NO, YOU ARE RUINING THE CAN, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE IT BACK" and then I remember this is in America
I use a separate method to get the smooth flow. So i open the beer, put the can on a table or something, press down on the top of the tab and apply pressure from left to right. You will then get a hole opening that’s kinda triangular shaped, and is designed to maximize flow. Warning, you can and likely will cut your thumb doing this
This one is a little hard to explain but I can’t believe you missed it - bear with me. The people who open the can normally, tab still attached however in a somewhat vertical position, then push hard on the tab away from the body to break into the aluminum top and make a bigger hole are freaking elite. This guy is trying to slug as much beer as possible as quickly as possible (larger hole for larger gulps) and wants to be the most fucked up. Most fun bro at the party or chilling with the guys

All jokes aside, I'm not exactly shocked that it isn't in the video, as its pretty uncommon. What has greatly surprised me is the complete lack of any direct information about it online. There's no recognized name, nothing on Urban Dictionary about it, no photos, no videos demonstrating the technique, no posts written about it directly, NOTHING. Aside from the ten or so comments on this video, the only other place that I found it mentioned was a reddit thread that started from a 4 panel image giving the instructions to the 'can stab' method. On this thread, debate ensued over the validity of the stab method, and among the 325 comments there were two independent people who brought up this tab-push method as a superior alternative. I've never uploaded a video on youtube, but I'm serious about making one about this, as there's nothing at all covering how to do this.
Forgot the hole cover guy. Normally seen outdoors, they turn the tab to cover the hole to try and block bugs getting in their beer. It's a pointless exercise because really you should be paying enough attention to your drink to block bugs before they get near
I think the twist to the side means “this is mine don’t drink it” never seen someone stab the top through the side. My old man has a recycling business and when people rip off the top it only makes less aluminum recycled. They fall though the processing equipment and they’re very hard to clean up off the ground.. so please just leave the damn things on. No they’re not worth more than the can.. they’re made from the same damn aluminum.

Tab up around here means nobody has drank out of it so you can have some, shared. Usually for gatherings when the kitchen counter is the bar - pour a bourbon and coke, pop open a can of coke keep the tab up and then the next person can use some/rest.
