  • Rentrer, revenir, retourner: What's the difference?
Rentrer is specifically to go back home

Très bien, mais on dit "les nouvelles vidéos" parce que c'est un mot féminin.

I have a question about, "il faut que je retourne au lycee pour 14h." What is the meaning of "for 2 p.m."? In English, "pour" would mean, "in order to" or "so that" a specific purpose can be accomplished. "I must be back at school by 2 p.m. because we are having a meeting in the auditorium." But in French, what is the meaning of "for 2 p.m."? Is it the same as "by 2 p.m."?

Yes, it's the same as "by 2pm". It is assumed you have a class or something starting at that time.

@@ClearlyFrench - One day before I die, I will be able to hold a conversation in French like Catherine Ceylac and her brilliant guests on "The ou Cafe." When that miracle happens, I will send you a bouquet of flowers (electronically 🤔🤫🤭🤗) !
