Hey Angelus Team, just wanted to say thanks for helping guide me through the customizing experience. It's really nice to have instructors like you guys and DeJesus Custom Footwear to teach new customizers the ropes.
Fantastic work, for people who make art in Sneakers it is a kind of feeling that many do not understand! Thank you for contributing to the sneakers community, I will customize them on the walls🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for sharing this l use to buy Louis Vuitton bags in the 90s and early 2000s. Some of my bags are worn and l would NEVER pay the repair prices some are more than l paid for the bags or the new prices for a canvas and leather bag. I am going to try your product to paint the vachetta different colors and add designs to customize my bags.
I just finished painting my lv wallet with Angelus it’s canvas I’m gonna seal it tomorrow I didn’t use the prep to deglaze it just rubbing alcohol will this hold up?
Yes! You don't necessarily need to deglaze canvas. However, adding 2-Soft to the mix is crucial for canvas. We definitely recommend mixing the leather paint with 2-Soft in a 1:1 ratio.
You might need to blend two colors or more to get an exact color match. However, you're welcome to check out our Fire Red. That will be the closest we have right out of the bottle.
Our "0" Round is a good one. And yes, you can use the leather paint for canvas. If you are referring to a cloth canvas, you will need the additive 2-Soft. Hope this helps you!
Me watching this, as I paint my Dooney and bourke edges of the bag. Didn’t want to return the bag, loved the leather, but the edges of the handle were messed up. Found out about Angelus and was like 💭 1+1 is 2 and 2+2 is 4, paint the edges!💭
Angelus ... On coated canvas Louis Vuitton I saw 2 different answers.. do you have to deglaze it not and do you wipe it down after? Or can you paint over lv design and just seal. Then on Louis coated canvas what is the seal you use? Thanks
This is usually a case of the paint not being cured. And also can occur in many types of weather conditions. If possible, don't use a heat gun. Let this dry naturally. Otherwise, the tackiness can happen. You will need to wait a week or so for that to settle.
Hey there! We recommend to always prep the leather before painting, you can either use Leather Preparer and Deglazer or you can lightly sand down to prep.
If you use too much of it on the leather it can damage the leather. So you always want to make sure you are careful when preparing the leather. When using our paints using deglazer on leather and/or coated canvas like an LV bag is a must!
@@orionhook2166 but if you’re painting over it what would that matter? I restore luxury bags. Deglazer is always needed otherwise the paint will not stay long. What exactly are u trying to do? I can give u some guidance
@@lillymurray8408 I restore shoes. I understand the purpose of deglazing. I was simply saying it's not leather. It's coated canvas. So when advertising and explaining how to use the paint I would hope one actually knew what material they were painting. If it's Louis Vuitton and it's leather it's fake aside from straps and trim
@read books a body bag is more formal, and the strap goes across your body when on your shoulder where as a purse has shorter straps ( making it easier to carry in your hand) usually two instead of one, and does not cross your body when on your shoulder. So yeah, not really that much difference, but there are a few things.
BEAUTIFUL work ! Thank you. For the novis, it would br helpful to see some product labels, or if you could say more clearly what the product is called. Also - as you may know, Louis Vuitton bags are made of canvas, not leather. 🌱
You'd be surprised. In fact, one of our artists custom paints on only Hermes, Chanel, Goyard you name it. It's unreal how many love the look of custom art on their purses.

Nice to see you wearing the mask. Loved the paint job too...
Wow, thank you for sharing this! Wonderful!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the pop of color 🙌🏼
Id never have the hand for that, this lad is steady
Patience and a lot of practice 💯

Beautifully done 👏👏👏
FABULOUS!
That crossbag looks so dope!
what color choice would you use if I needed to do the touch up for the trim.

Wow beautiful
I deglazed and painted my Alma, now what do I seal it with??
I was at there SoCal store earlier for Drive up
You get any goodies?
@@AngelusBrand some stickers
For this kind of PVC coated canvas should you mix the paint with the 2-Hard medium? It’s essentially plastic, no?
I would love to try this. However, i dont think i can do the detail painting keeping crisp lines
😢
Your work is impeccable! I can’t imagine being so precise painting the monogram on a Louis Vuitton! How long did it take you to master this?
Step 1: Deglazer. Step 2: Masking. Step 3: Have an exceptional talent for drafting and painting. Step 4. Top coat. It’s that easy!
Very helpful. Thank you.
That is awesome to hear! We're glad this helped you!
What's the color of the vachetta on the edges? I want to repaint mine, I just couldn't find the right color. Thank you.
Merci pour vos conseils
How much you charge for something like that?
Love ❤️ 👜🛍
How much do you charges for something like that? I'm very interested.
We just make the materials, but you can reach out to the artist via their social media in the bio!
What colour gives the Vuitton red coquelicot please
You might need to blend two colors or more to get an exact color match. However, you're welcome to check out our Fire Red. That will be the closest we have right out of the bottle.
Which Angelus color best matches the yellow/gold color on the LV logos? I’m restoring a vintage wallet and the logos are very faded. Thanks!
What is the best brush to use for painting such a thin line? So you use leather paint on canvas?

Yaaaaaaaaas!
Why did you reupload this??
Yea why did they?
That's what I'm wondering. From what I remember, the last one didn't do that hot. So why bother?
We had an error we wanted to fix that we caught after it uploaded. Sorry about that! We will try to not have it happen again.
What brush u used for painting specific brand and size
He used an assortment of our Angelus Brushes, here is a link to them 😃

Every project should have preparation. The manufacturer seals the product. If you do not deglaze that, the paint will most likely peel off easily.
Where do i get lids like that mine don't have the thing in the middle, is that an accessory? The bag is fresh asf as well.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
O.M.G I'm all thumbs but I want to try this!
How long does it take for drying time?
If once dry, is the paint sticky to the touch?
This is usually a case of the paint not being cured. And also can occur in many types of weather conditions. If possible, don't use a heat gun. Let this dry naturally. Otherwise, the tackiness can happen. You will need to wait a week or so for that to settle.
Nice 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
Que chido
I want to paint my wallet, which is a smooth leather would I need to use the leather preparer if there’s no design I’m tracing over ?
Hey there! We recommend to always prep the leather before painting, you can either use Leather Preparer and Deglazer or you can lightly sand down to prep.
Yes you always need a deglazer no matter what the bag is finished with a glaze.
Amazing skill!!! I'm afraid if I tried to do this it would look like a 3rd grader😁
Practice makes perfect!
Would this work to change color of an entire bag?
If it leather, yes. I recommend using a air brush and thinning the paint a bit. I re-store luxury bags. First I paint or dye then I air brush.
Firsttt👀🤩
If he can wear his mask while detailing a LV bag with fineliners you can wear your mask for 45 minutes at walmart 😂
Do you do custom designs on bags. i want one.
We sell the products to do it yourself. You can try contacting the artists to inquire a custom from them
can you paint my speedy bag? i live in NJ
Make sure to reach out to the artist mentioned/tagged!
Will the deglazer "hurt" the bag?? Like losing colors or something? Is there a way to paint high-end leather goods without deglazing?

Can I use nail paint?

Good idea to do to a replica..

Awesome work... question... why are you wearing a mask? Isn't that camera on a tripod and you are alone? Just asking, don't kill me 😁
At the time of filming, the entire warehouse had to wear masks. The videographer is in there as well.
@@AngelusBrand oh wow. Thx 4 info. I thought you were alone. Great work on that bag. Wish I could afford one. 👍
