Excellent video Liam and Phil. Fantastic shot over the Viaduct. Great selection of locations. Well done for getting this rare steam tour out of London. Kind regards C&A
An interesting history of a Castle on the ECML. Pendennis Castle was lent to the LNER in 1925 for trials. The Castle outperformed the A1s especially on coal consumption which went on to inspire Gresley's A3.
Another lovely video liam and Phil well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on RUclips bye for now Philip
Great video as always Liam, we were also up the north end of Welwyn North but on the other side so was talking to your Dad for a while between filming!
@@MarshSteamVideosTMAll good thanks mate! Yes you did, for the return I was all set up on the other side and had to move over as it was a non-stop passage of trains. Suppose we are lucky to see any steam on the ECML!
Which one was the oldest! Superb footage and spine tingling sounds. Whenever I see a large engine at speed like this I am in awe of the mechanics of it.
Excellent footage there Liam and Phil. Clun sounds great

As I’m Bristol born I would hope the Swindon Locos might have out performed all the LNER’s best. Somehow I do think it maybe wishful thinking!!!
Superb video of Clun Castle.
Excellent video. Camera just pan with steam locomotive without any jerk. Lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Great capture Marsh❤❤😊😊 7029 Clun Castle outside London on the East Coast Main Line [ECML].😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ Well done Marsh.
Very good , thanks for posting.
Liam & Phil, Nicely captured. Regards, John
Proper lovely; thank you!
Super footage from my local station. I was away at the weekend
so missed the oppertunity to photograph a "Castle" on the ECML.
Music to my ears.
Fantastic coverage as always.

Hi, Ashley
My dad did tell me. I hope you're well. We did well not to get bowled on such a busy line.

Nice done video :)
That abandoned JCB makes a picturesque prop.

Not via the Hertford loop then? That was a good bit of planning by Network Rail's timetablers. Sensational sound, absolutely storming it there
It’s almost like the 1948 exchange trials all over again
2:02 Wow what a noise!

at the Swanage Railway, there's a locomotive back in steam after 75 years, are you planning to go there to record a footage of it?
Hopefully, sometime in the new year all being well.
Looks like clun castle is invading the east coast mainline which is the LNER territory
Castles rarely need assistance ,but the diesel is for emergency I suppose they have the heart of a lion on the permanent way .
Mainly for working the empty stock and to supply electrical power to the train
