My attempt at predicting starters: Grass crocodile, fire eagle and water "unspecified mammal". The last one would look like a generic animal, perhaps a squirrel or mouse but you're not sure what it is. Similar to how cyndaquil is a porcupine or mouse that turns into a badger or wolverine.
Oh grass crocodile is a great choice! It would complete the trio of totodile, fuecoco - and then grass croc!

Given that we haven't gotten the return of older characters for 2 generations now, and that Gen 10 is a special number; I hope we get returning characters in Gen 10 that we can battle, including characters from Gen 7-9

they haven't made a a japan region in a long time,they could go back this route for the 30th anniversary,but I get the feeling they'll continue to do region from other countries or continents,I kinda want another region based off the states since we only gotten unova so far,but I'd love to see a region based off of south america so we can explore the place mew came from,I also want a water cat starter since we got fire and grass cats,but I don't think we'll get a water cat starter until gen 11 or 12 though
You had 2 US regions! Unova and Alola! But the US is big enough that they could easily make more. I'd actually really like a cowboy region, but maybe that's more of a legends game than a main series game.

Here is a try of my prediction of Gen 10: We are going to a region that are based on Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway and Denmark). Professor Eva Spruce is a very analytical old lady that are studying Pokémon Marks and in this specific region if a Pokémon have a mark and depending on what the mark is they get something like a fifth move or a super-rare ability or something.
Eva will also have a Assistant that are studying Shiny Pokémon and there will be some kind of thing like maybe a rarer type of shinies that have another coloration or something.
The evil team will be a bit like Team Rocket that mostly just are there to steal Pokémon and sell stolen Pokémon.
I think we will have a Grass Moose Pokémon as the Grass-Lynx, A Fire-Bear and a Water-Beaver as Starters.
Box-Art legendaries is Gonna be based on a Moose and an Owl! Pokémon Ebony and Ivory.
I'd love a Scandinavian region, BUT I'd love a Nordic region even more! It just isn't the same without Finland and Iceland!

I wouldn't be surprised if the next region is another Japanese region tbh
They've never done an open world Japanese region game (unless you count Hisui in legends arceus) so I feel like at the very least they'll end up doing that at some point!
I'm on the fence about Pokemon fusing. Like I can totally see GameFreak doing it, but at the same time.. There's like 1000 pokemon so I could see it working like Mega Pokemon.
Yeah that's what I meant in the video though I think I never said it explicitly! They'd basically be like mega stones, you'd have to find them out in the world and there's a very limited number of pokemon that can fuse. Though honestly I don't think I would like fusions so I hope that falls into my "33% wrong" stats 🤣
I already imagined a fusion mechanic like in Pokémon Infinite Fusion. You could have on fusion in your team that would be a pokemon that's stronger than average (Like a paradox) and have either one, two or three typings
I've never played IF so I'm not sure how it works there! (But I wasn't sure of how it worked in the manga either and I didn't let that stop me)
Loved this . Going to say Australia is the next region .. starters fire koala , grass echidna/hedgehog , water platypus .. box legendaries a kangaroo and a platypus .. as for the names I have no clue what to even guess

The national dex returning would be amazing, especially since gen 10 is kinda like an anniversary generation.
Also another prediction but kinda sad and not likely is that this could be the final generation of pokemon.
My brain understands why we can't have a national dex with 1000+ pokemon... but my heart wants it!
Here's my starter prediction: two of the evo's in Z-A will share their types with existing starter Evos from the same gen and the third one will be unique. This unique typing will be shared with the gen 10 evo and the other two will be swapped around
Like we had in Legends Arceus/SV: Hisuian Decidueye has the same typing as Chesnaught, Hisuian Samurott has the same typing as Greninja, Hisuian Typhlosion is a new type combo for starters, Quaquaval has H-Decidueye's Type 2 and Meowscarada has HSamurott's while Skeledirge shares its types with H-Typhlosion
Bonus prediction: whatever generation the "shared types" will be from, that region will he the setting for the next Legends game:
Greninja/Chesnaught - Z-A is set in Kalos

The fact you had my favorite Pokémon in your prediction is just making this even better. I would very much want to see a Heracrush...As long as it isn't as ugly as Mega Heracross. So we shall see...I will MAYBE if I remember make an own prediction in another comment but just want to say I like the thought of Heracrush!

Honestly all this is great but can you predict if we will be able to enter buildings in this game??
I predict yes, because removing the ability to go inside was the worst thing they've ever done!!
You know, would be cool if the gimmicks stopped and we had an alola mega evolution/z moves thing. So like every couple games we would get a mish mash of like the gimmicks. One could be mega/gigantamax, other could be tera/mega. But this would be probably be towards the end of the game, or you unlock one mid game and the next one like endish game. Would make pvp quite good ngl and wouldn't make another useless gimmick.
I wouldn't mind a mix of battle gimmicks but I don't agree that they're "useless", I think new gimmicks are a good thing and expands the world building as well as mixes up the meta a bit for those who do competitive! I wouldn't mind them not having a gimmick as I don't do competitive myself and I'd be happy as long as there's some other kind of world building though!

here my prediction gen 10 is gonna be based on the netherlands. first of all gamefreak were in the netherlands last year. there a map of Zeeland in the dlc of scarlet and violet a part of the netherlands. And there are painthing of van gogh in bdsp whitch is a dutch painter
