Encapsulated Glitter Mix Acrylic Design

- Hiya Duck,
I’m back with another watch me work video, today we’re doing an encapsulated glitter mix acrylic design.
We’re going to start by prepping the nails. Then we’ll fit the sculpting form to the nail and apply the primer.
I’m going to use my Oscar the Wild Brush because it’s a bigger brush and we’re starting from scratch I’m going to start with Glass Slipper onto the contact area between the nail and the form and blend that back. I want this layer to be super thin so I can go on top with my other acrylic. Then we’re going to use Bare Booty over Glass Slipper and create my smile line.
On another nail I’m going to do a full clear base with Glass Slipper, apply our glitter on top of the clear then sandwich that together with another layer of clear over the top.
I’m going to take a file and sharpen up my smile line and make a ‘wall’. We’re going to apply void with the mako aqua brush around that wall to help sharpen the edges.
We’ll then take a bead of clear, smush that in the glitter and apply that to the end of the nail. I’ll then encapsulate the glitter with clear and I’ll file and buff the nails.
I’m going to finish with Bling and Top Coat!

I really like this style of video. Its calm, focused and I enjoy your play by play. Plus the nails are lovely. I mess with my cuticles because of anxiety. So lovely gel nails to withstand my job...some natural length...nasty cuticles. Such is life!

I personally don’t like nails on my own hands. After three days I want them off, they feel heavy and all I’ve ever gotten was square short French. Back in the 90’s early 2000’s. Do you mind me asking why you don’t use tips? You might have answered this before but I’m fairly new to your channel. Really interested in getting in to this profession and love watching. Just curious why you prefer to sculp the acrylic as opposed to using tips x

I did a set like this this morning. I should have watched this before I left. My question is how do you keep the bulk down. I had to do alot of filing and still ended up filing to the clear 😢

Vidéo très intéressante cependant la réalité est tout autre. Je n'ai jamais compris pourquoi ceux qui sont en dehors de l'utérus ont ne veut pas les enlever tout en sachant que ça va continuer à grossir à faire mal, et même créer des contractions utérines qui peuvent créer des fausses couches. LOVE your stuff Kirsty!!! Question...Ok, I have been using hard gel and acrygel to do my own nails for years, mostly because I am now allergic to Acrylic and anything with HEMA in it and I don't want any tech loaded with guilt or anything because of my allergy. Any tips for working with Acrylic on other people? I would love to be able to work with the material safely! I once worked in dentistry making acrylic temporary fillings etc, so I am completely familiar with acrylic monomer and polymer and I want SO MUCH to use your new acrylic range Kirsty! Even if only on my family members! I will just wear double gloves and a mask etc!
