This is a very powerful tea, knocks out the current sickness. Try it with ginger root and dandelion root, add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice as the tea cools, it's beautiful tea and excellent for respiratory health.

Rock rose tea has polyphenols. So what is polyphenols? Polyphenols are macrobiota ? No but Polyphenols act like macrobiota. So does it help intestines and skin? Yes of course. You see difference in 1-2 days. Is it permanent? NO!! How often you could drink it? Once every 3 days minimum. There is a reason to avoid every day consumption. It will dry intestine and upset flow. Does polyphenol effect repair intestinal strictures ext ext ?? No. Most of you believe can treat IBS,IBD, Lyme ext ext. The answer is : NO!! Intestinal mitochondria is not the root reason of them. What is scientific solution: HGH Injections will treat permanently IBS, IBD and any sort of mucosa, skin and heat intolerance!!!
BESIDES GOOD THEORIES AVOID CISTUS TEA BECAUSE SALFITE REACTION WILL OCCUR CAUSING CONSTIPATION & INTESTINAL FREQUENCY CHANGE!!

ivoman7 I´ve heard that you should really boil the tea... and then let it sit 15 mins.. then you should do the same routine 2 times more. Then drain the leaves out. Add stevia and in your case honey too if you want... and there you have the best benefits of the powerful plant Cistus Incarnus❣️.. Maybe there will be more ways to do it but this is how I`ve learned.. Good luck and hugs from Sweden😊💚

I watched a video on cistus purpureus plants online. I ordered a pound of this tea on Amazon for $15. Now, as I'm walking around my city parks here in Southern California, I noticed these plants growing everywhere. I have already noticed how powerful it is. My family has been sick with a bad cold, which I usually get as well. Not this time!!! The only thing different is I'm drinking a large cup of cistus tea 3 times a day.

Hi Jake. Good video. I live in the Algarve and am lucky enough to be surrounded by this plant. I drink plenty of it and sell it to folk on a casual basis, which keeps the price down for them.
Surprisingly, I have never attempted to drink it straight after harvesting. There is no aroma to it at this stage and I cannot imagine it having any taste. I notice that you don´t comment on the taste, so that´s not a surprise.
If you dry it, out of direct sunlight, for a few weeks, then give it the smell test, it´s like WOW! And a taste to match.
    Regards.

Hello Jake, great video greetings from the north of Spain
I would like to ask you a question, near my house there is a park and there is planted a variety of that plant that looks the same as the video but has a slightly different scientific name, it is not called cistus incanus, but cistus albidus, the two are rockrose, do you think that this also has the same medicinal virtues as the other?
and all the varieties of rockrose also have them or only the cistus incanus?
    thanks jake

Never use boiling water. 180-190 F. Steep must be at least 25 minutes and no more than 35 minutes. Triple brew is best for hard water/high mineral content. I use distilled for best results. En-Joy!!! Use 1/3 cup or 13 grams for 30 oz H20. Linden Botanicals has excellent directions and teas.
