I rescued 3 of these babies this July , thank god they were not that big. They fell out of their nest which was very high in our tree. I brought them to our local SPCA. I did get attached to them, how can you resist those beautiful big eyes. I thank god for that experience. They are lovely creature when they are babies. ❤️💕
because it's the father :) falcon males are smaller than females, and the young tend to be bigger than their parents at some point anyway, until they start to fly and hunt on their own. Then they lose some fat they get when growing up without much weight loss
