This is actually a very beautiful shoe. Unfortunately it was used as a status symbol in South Africa, and even the poorest people buy it as soon as they have the money to get it. Carvela is now a shoe that is embarrassing to wear and people do not take you seriously in South Africa if you wear it. You probably won't even get that job. Women think you're too ghetto of you wear it. Time to rebrand and maybe redesign this shoe and sell it for R6k ($500). It'll be respected again.

Also even if it may be 6K we still gonna afford to buy it because it's a luxury good if you were, economic enlightened you would actually know that the high price of luxury good also known as snob item, it's demand goes on a direct proportion. Same applies to alcohol, or any good of addiction, if its price increases also demand of it will never go down.
