My solution for the zipper situation in my pocket Finsburies is basically a page lifter - I cut a bit of cardboard (an old abused Filofax box in this case) to size, covered in washi tape, and hole punched it. For mini I'll probably try to make sure the hole punched area is as thin as possible to save ring space. I tried using regular page lifters, but my larger than standard paper extends parts them. Not a problem for the page lifting capability, but it doesn't solve the sipper problem. But I do generally like to have something like this on one or both sides, to deal with zippers and lumpy pockets.
