Hello Graham! I liked this video very much, specially as I am waiting (still) for my Personal Lockwood zip to arrive (it seems it's sitting in Customs here in Costa Rica). I was wondering if the rip on the top, near the zipper could be due to the material of the planner. My two previous planners were not in leather and I noticed that the faux leather filofax uses tends to be flimsy.
Hi! Yes, definitely. Leather is much tougher and it requires better workmanship and materials, so it is sewn and glued to within an inch of its life. Faux leather is much more easily damaged, and is easier to work, so you can sew it, for example, like cloth - and that means it's more susceptible to damage. In this case the sewing created a line of weakness so the faux leather ripped along it like paper along perforations. Fair enough - faux leather will never be as tough as leather, and I did bash it about a lot :-)
Thanks for the thorough review. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛

Nice video.
Pity your Graphic Personal Zipped is damaged. I can only offer you an A5.
