  • Today we fly Anchorage, Alaska, pick up our Turo hire car, drive to Palmer, grocery shop at Fred Meyer, and check into a very cute airbnb.

You said your accomodation was cute and small. That place was double the size of where Ron and I live. Lol

Do not know how you can do these things if you are in so much pain. Ron and I could not. We would not be able to walk. We cannot travel at all now. Kevin I think they know how to run an airport. Kevin how old are you “Bro”.? Libby you have my permission to slap Kevin if he calls you bro.

Kevin always does a great job driving on the other side of the road on your holidays. That is always a big stress for us. Those 4 way stops we have no idea, we just go when people seem to be waiting for us and it takes the whole car load of people to decide which entry and exit is the correct lane. From US vlogs I have seen I have definitely noticed US prices are so high when people are eating out these days. I often think that a meal would often be worth the same amount of dollars over here, meaning the US seems to be paying much more.

Kevin’s gate 88 brain - haha, love it. The good thing about being the vlogger is that the partner does more of the bags at the airport. Queenstown on Steroids! looks absolutely stunning! Funny watching this vlog on a plane actually heading to Queenstown NZ! The slow motion flag waving in the wind was a great final shot.

Ah, that's his autistic brain at work. So jealous of you being in Queenstown. I think it might be my most fav. place on earth. We usually go about twice a year for Kevin's work but we haven't been in over a year. Luckily Alaska made up for missing it :-). Hope you have an amazing trip.

Oh, yes I'm still in love with Alaska. We had a wonderful trip and will hopefully be back again one day (after we've seen some other parts of the world - like Europe which we haven't been to).

I love that through RUclips we can explore places and do things we will never get to do. I find vlogs offer a more personal insight than something like a documentary.

Can't wait to see the rest of your Alaska vlog series. Looks so beautiful there. I still call them skivvys 2. Must be our age! Was brought up calling them that but I believe they call it a turtle neck now. Keep safe x 😊
