As a Bass Player for many years, it's a great compliment to the Bass Player in this video to see the Organist left foot never touch the foot pedals. 💯💥
Hello Herman my name is Eugene K. Lynch. I play drums too. I began when I was 7. I am self taught but I took lessons from 2001-2002. I am good on the drums but people still say I need lessons. Also when I see drummers play, they are so good but I feel terrible. I come home sometimes and I cry. People say,``Stop feeling terrible. Just practice.''
Practice rudiments and apply them to the kit and also drum lessons or having a drum teacher will help alot especially since they are professionals themselves
Solid drumming!! Haven't heard solid drumming in a long time! Some drummers do too much just because they can chop and do rudiments, but this guy is awesome 👌
@@teedrumz2019 i love to crank my snares i love the pop i get but it should sound nice it has a nice response wen yu crank them up i jus recently tuned my side snare down but i usually have it cranked but im tryin another sound besides to cranked up snares
In the very beginning of the song the drummer needs to lay down a solid pocket. At 1:00 the drummer starts missing a lot of bass notes on the 1 and 3. The drummer is being fancy and missing those pocket notes.
Erik Victoria he speaking facts tho. this is a song to play in the pocket and just enjoy the song. it’s like total praise. you don’t wanna do too much.
I don't think he is trying to outplay the song. If you listen to the recording of the song, you'll appreciate his almost perfect recital of what the recording sounds like.
to Damion May: To properly play songs like this drummers need to learn from Jeff “Lo” Davis, the Godfather of Modern Gospel Drumming. Jeff played clean, complimented the song and didn't overplay.
