    Video Info
To Kwa Wan is a pretty special place in Hong Kong. Situated to the Eastern area of Kowloon, near Tai Kwun , Whompoa, and what used to be the Kowloon Walled City, TKW has extensive cultural and historical roots. Areas in HK often feel like they have their very own culture and personality, and TKW is definitely one of those places. It just feels different. Enjoy the walk!
    Channel Info
Welcome to Walker HK, where we love exploring, walking, flying, relaxing, and just generally living life. This channel is all about beautiful visuals and natural ambience. Sometimes that means natural binaural audio with virtual walking tours to capture the feeling of the street, other times that means chill music that sets the right mood to drone footage or an excellent sunset. We are mostly based in Hong Kong, but we try to travel as often as possible. That’s what this channel is about. If you like those things, maybe this channel is for you!
I am always trying to push my limits on video and audio quality in order to be bring the best experience to my audience. My inspirations are channels like Nomadic Ambience, Rambalac, Hong Kong Walker, Walk East, Virtual Japan, Watched Walker, and many more. If you like what I do, I think you would also enjoy their channels.

Wow ! I grew up in To Kwa Wan during the 50's and 60's . We didn't have those fancy things like what we got these days and especially the super high rise apartment buildings. Much more eateries now than that in those days. But the cost of living was low then . For lunch , a plate of minced beef with steamed white rice plus one egg was only HK $1:40 at the Golden Gate Cafe at Ma Tau Wai Road at Hung Hum district . 😎☕️🍰🥮 🇮🇹🇺🇸

I have a friend who also grew up there and he first introduced me to the area. Honestly, I love TKW, it's got such a unique feeling. Almost like it has its own culture.

Now I remembers the name of that girls only school where my younger sister attended was Hip Yun Girls Middle School . Located in Tol Kwa Wan right by the Tang King Po which I was once attended . One campus of the New Asia University was just near by . Wondering if the Hip Yun still exists. 😎☕️🍰🥮🍡 🇮🇹🇺🇸 .

Unfortunatly, all the old iconic areas between Tai Kok, TKW, and Walled City are being slowly developed. There's some good to that, but also a bit sad because there's so much history and culture in those areas.
