Man for me it’s the creative and genius idea by Calvin Rodgers to actually play with precision on top of the impeccably timing! He made me feel like bruh practice practice but at the same time a message saying it can be done. Cause he did it. Man this guy is such an inspiration.

This is 🔥🔥🔥! However this is a different setup for Calvin. I’m use to seeing him with 3 rack toms and one floor tom. Now we are seeing one rack tom and two floor toms.

my guy is slamming. meinl needs to take a look at their mix on all these videos.. the tracks crush the cymbals in virtually all of them.

Sick playing overall but the Vintage Pure Light Ride has no stick definition on my end :(
Have you tried putting a Moongel on it? I put one on my transition ride and it sounds like a jazz ride now.

Yea a medium light ride would have done this set up better. Super dry thins fall apart in a mix outside of jazz

@@chrisl5711 Yeah, sounds exactly like a clap. Cool if you want to waste money and a cymbal spot on a clap sound. I personally would rather have some sample/drum pads with those kinds of sounds.
