While doing a lip sync to Love is an Open Door from Disney's Frozen, I surprised my girlfriend by actually proposing to her. I know, it is super cheesy, but she loved it and that is all that matters.
One does not simply watch one marriage proposal video.
Thank God you said it! I'm trapped in happiness on RUclips today! Help!

Those of you saying after 9 months isn't enough, my parents were engaged after 9 weeks of knowing each other and they are still together, and this was 25 years ago. When some people meet each other, it could be the one. Not everyone is the same and has to wait 5 years...

Yeah my fiance proposed after 6 months and 13 days. We've been engaged for over 2 years, and have never been more in love. What matters is the amount of love felt along with a shared determination to never let go of that love.
My wife knew each other for less then 6 months and we have been married over 35 years!
I find it really silly that people choose to focus on whether or not your engagement is too soon. Jesus Christ, did you WATCH the video? Did you see the love, laughter and romance? Yes? Then who the **** cares about how long they've been together. Wish them well and stop judging. You don't know their relationship.

For those saying 9 months is too short... my mom and step dad didn't even date before they got married. They got married because people kept saying "he's the one! You are so cute together! Anyone can tell that he is really in love with her, even though he is maybe shy and a little embarassed about singing and playing a lip sync, he did it cause he wanted to make her happy. This is very sweet.
What about not marrying after 9 months? I think if it's enough to let a new life be born from a belly, why not enough to let a new love to reach its highest point? As someone here said, if it's the right person, you don't need 9 years to understand it. Knowledge of each other is obviously important, but when you find everything you want and need in the other half, people, he/she is the one!
