I really don't understand why you don't ( I didn't mean you, I meant the car manufacturer ) have a castle nut holding the wheel hub on, that cotter pin is only there to keep that hub nut from coming off down the road . I would rather they put a castle nut there , torque it down then put the cotter pin in. after torqueing if the cotter pin doesn't line up with a notch in the castle nut you can always back off the torque or put a little more foot pounds on that castle nut to get the cotter pin it the notch to prevent it from even loosening a little. Great video by the way, thanks !
When ordering the hub online it ask with abs or without how do you know which one to order i thought every car had abs can someone help a non mechanic i mean a DIY please

You people who work on theses versas are some of the worst hacks to watch. You do the bare mininum to the steering knuckle. As I said your hacks. I would only use OEM parts not after market garbage. The versa you show who own them are a disgrace not taking care of there car.

Why so few comments? This is a great instructional video including the axle nut torque specs! Well done and great camera work and dialogue.
Thank you so much for this detailed video including the torque specs. I did this for both my front wheel today and it went super smoothly!
That backing plate looks incredible clean compare to the knuckle itself.
Just got mine done today, thank you for the video instructions were very clear and easy to follow!
This is great! Thank you for the thorough step by step process.
‘Grab the other wheel’ or if you are not doing it on a garage jack, use steering wheel 🙃 great vids thanks all save me A LOT of cash
This video was awesome. very detailed thank you so much
Would you damage the bearing if you use the axle nut to seat the hub in the knuckle?

Having an issue getting the abs sensor back in. It goes in, but will not go flush against the knuckle. What do I do?
