Because, in doing some digging I have seen rumors that it is going to be selling for $150 per bottle, which if true, is a big ask for a shot in the dark on alcohol. And feel if that is the price, will turn away a decent amount of people. But I could be wrong. Interested to see what comes of it regardless.
There are lots of import export laws regarding alcohol. It's far above a small distillery to change that. As far as the price goes, it's like art. It's worth what ppl are willing to pay for it. Will it taste as good or better than a proven $150 bottle of booze? That's TBD. But you won't know unless you try it. But I've drank lots of different kinds of expensive booze and almost every time I could see the price being warranted. If getting drunk is your sole objective 5oclock vodka has you covered.
