On Monday, December 19, 2022, Kintaro, the second son of the Momotaro family, turned 4 years old.
We thought we would show his growth over the past year, but we have edited the video with only footage from the first half of 2022.

The Momotaro family were all born and raised in Japan!
Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.
Gentaro (eldest son), born on December 21, 2011
Momotaro and Genki's first child

I just began last year, watching these videos. I live in a 55 + retirement community. Many of us have been overjoyed watching these clips. I just read about Kiango's mother. Momotaro family was my first family, then Shabani. I have never felt so sad in so long. I would like to know, how she got sick, was it quick? Are the other Gorilla's really stepping in? I feel terribly sad. How is he really doing.
I have watched Kintaro grow since he was born. It's been a joy to keep up with his progress. He is just a momma's boy to his heart. Genki is my favorite gorilla mother. She's a extraordinary mother to both her baby boys. Thank you guys for all the wonderful footage. Great Job. 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That’s so funny Genki is picking Kentaro up to climb . He’s bigger but he can easily climb it himself. She’s a wonderful mom. He’s a sweetheart too.
