    Great video, I'm really enjoying my SK1 so far! Love the fully open aspect with klipper and components. Really feels like a prebuilt voron to some degree, where you'll get a working machine out of the box but you'll need to put in some effort to get the best results, not perfect but cant really be beat at this pricepoint.
    I'd highly recommend the alternate toolhead design on printables with much better access to the bowden tube.
    Surprisingly the support team has been very helpful as well.

      Good to know! I looked for a new toolhead design to print but couldnt find it. Good to know it’s out there. Ill take another look.

    Is there such a thing as a quiet CoreXY printer? I want one, but it has to live in my home office with me.

      @3DPrintSOS  6 месяцев назад +1

      The Creality K machines have a “quiet mode” but nonetheless this one is specifically louder than most that I own. The trident BY FAR being the most quiet.

    Thank you for the excellent overview of the printer. I'd been considering picking up one of these for a while, and watched many reviews, and my conclusions basically match yours. This is not to be too harsh on TT for trying to deliver something that stands out a bit from the pack, but I feel like that most people who buy a pre-built, also expect a more complete/polished package. It's a pre-built, but it doesn't assist in almost any other way that matters for the overall user-experience. If you're a tinkerer, then you'd be better off just buying a Voron. If you're after a pre-built, you're better off with one of the many other manufacturer offerings. It's like TT got half-way there, got tired of it, and decided to ship it as is in a first-cut beta-development state. It has so much potential otherwise. It just needs some more love and attention by those who made it.

    Add [exclude_object] to the config and you’ll be able to cancel individual parts

      Yessir. We can add KAMP and macro tweaks as well. Just a bummer it wasnt done and we have to “fix it"

    All reviews of this printer are stating the machine is more meeeh. I am astonished you like it

      I mean, the largest section of the video is the CONS. haha. I do see it for what it is though. The quality of the chassis and it's parts is actually super high. Very sturdy and heavy, even. The fact that it’s actually doing something new is commendable. The part that’s a letdown is the plastics and firmware setup.

    Is there space for the nozzle to move off the plate on either the side or the back? I am asking as I would want to install a hotend brush/cleaner or even a Klicky for z-offset

    Very nicely done video! The sk1 looks like a good printer but it’s definitely not finished yet

    Great overview, you can do some upgrades to fix some of the cons you mentioned, but because of that it's definitely not for people expecting to take it out of the box and go. This is for people who want a trident but dont want to spend a ton of time building it. You can change the fans in the bottom to act as "controller fans" on a different port so they are off during idle. I also upgraded the psu to a fanless meanwell. The toolhead fans would require a new tool board to change. Im also upgrading the bed and bed mounting to use trident parts with the bearings and adding a rail to the back leadscrew. My stock bed is not flat at all 0.4mm difference 😢 main thing that sucks tho is TT themselves not releasing their FW changes or any documentation they act like they wrote their own firmware further following the terrible trend these chinese companies do with IP theft for theirnown gain.

    The Voron Trident uses 3 independent Z steppers. Do you confuse it with the VZbot?

    • @nunovicente34
      @nunovicente34 6 месяцев назад

      This printer also has 3 independent Z steppers

    • @yaVDRgda

      @@nunovicente34 I know, but he told that the Voron Trident uses one stepper with belt for Z instead of 3

    • @3DPrintSOS
      @3DPrintSOS  6 месяцев назад

      No sir. I did get tongue tied a few times making this video, but the trident got its name because of the 3 independent z steppers. I was saying other machines of this style have a belt system.

    adaptive mashing now is integrated into klipper itself

      Right. But this uses a fork of their own modified version to work with their MKS components. So by default, it’s outdated.

    Without the $100 off that they're giving people, it's the same price as the BambuLabs P1P. My opinion is why pay the same price for a cheap imitation?
    Side note: I love your videos Fedor, but if you looked at the lens a little more instead of the monitor, I would feel like you were engaging with the audience a little more. Just a thought, not a criticism. Keep up the good work!

    The bed is not the same size as the bambulabs machines. It is not really a problem but it might annoy some people.

    Hi Dear
    How are you? Great. Your Content is fantastic, But your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date. Out of 100, that's a score of 26.8, that's why your video is not reaching out to people and you do have not many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I think your RUclips channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response.

    another great video. I am getting better on my Flasforge Adventurer 5 Pro. I am trying to design some handheld accessories for my subscribers to purchase.
