My house(Ravenclaw) was in first until Snape being a Snape took a bunch of points away and landed my house in third(which was basically fourth because two houses(Slytherin and Hufflepuff) were tied for first and Gryffindor was in 2nd.
Here of course mate altough I pick gryffindor in hogwarts mystery xDDDD Although I check on potterrmore and I take other test in buzzfeed ect. and it all says I'm a ravenclaw and I'm proud of it .
Not really easy. But we required 80 gems to complete 8 hour quest earlier. Now we require 100 gems. The prize for winning the house cup was 250 gems. Now it is 100 gems.
After playing the beta I knew I have to stop after the tutorial and start grinding the classes in the game to not only level up and get money but also to stay ahead of the curb and my house is still in first after I lost twenty points from Snape
1)does this mean there's no point grinding classes before chapter 10? in other words, does it mean that no matter how many points I get for my house, the other houses will always be close? 2)can you still attend classes in chapter 10? cheers!
actually what I’ve noticed is that as long as you don’t continue with the story/main quests, the other houses don’t gain any points whatsoever, so I just grind up on house points and then do the quest. Time consuming, I know, but worth it for the 100 gems
it is said in the game description that you should bond with your housemates to win the house cup. so what i did is i go to my house’s common room before i exit the game. i’ve been doing this for quite some time now and when every quest or every class is done my house always gets the most points. i’m a ravenclaw btw
My house was in 4th place even though I was number 1 on the leaderboard and Dumbledore gave me 100 housepoints and it gave me the house cup. I think it will do it for everyone. So don't worry to much about your house mates progress. Just worry about your own ;)

Well, I try to go to as many classes as I can to get more points, I get about 5-10 points per lesson, this puts me high on the leaderboard,. Also I suggest that before the end of year feast you do as many classes as you can, it can boost you before the feast ( I haven’t done it yet )

Cool vídeo! Congrats! One question that I haverá about the game. When you are at the classes you have actions that costs 1,2,3,4 and 5 of energy, It appears to me that the 5 energy action fills more than 5 times the bar than the 1 energy action, do you feel the same?
i dont get your question but i can assure you- *your house does not matter* ! you can definitely get 1st place whatever house you're in. there's no multiplayer aspect so it's only you. the other names you see in the leaderboard are just randomised "computer players", not actual players all over the world! and they're never high enough to beat you. the other houses will stop earning points at the end of the year when it's time for the feast. but you can always attend multiple classes again and again and earn as many house points until you're satisfied!
At what point do you get to "grind" classes? I recently started playing and I'm about to start the first vault quest and the only grinding for house points i seem to be able to do is searching for creature food

from what i recall, if you go for the class separately, it will be 1hr- 2 points. 3hr- 3 points. 8hr- 6 points. but if it's one of the compulsory lessons that you have to attend for your story quest it is 10 points for the 5 stars. if i recall correctly!

XD!!! Funnily enough, regardless of which house you pick at the beginning your house mates will never actually help you win the house cup for the respective house. You'll be like the 'saving grace' for your house (I saw some guy's video and he's No.1 on the leaderboard at the end of 2nd year with 253 points accumulated, while the student in second place has only accumulated 23....!!!!) wow, man! Not to mention that the house prefects aren't there on the leaderboard. (as far as I've seen.)

Omg so I had the change in posions to still help Merula after she didn't listen to me. And I was like: if I don't help her, she is gonna fail but Snape probably won't be mad. Or I could help her and that would feel better for me because I like helping people out, but maybe Snape doesn't like that I'm helping people so he would maybe take points from me. Karen Trinkaus clicking on house points would only redirect you to the house cup standings and shows you who is in 1st place etc. Doesn't do anything else. "collect" is the way to proceed

You can try continuing on with your main story quests and proceed to next chapter, see if that changes anything. Otherwise you can always report the bug to jam city at hphm-help@jamcity.com
I had that same thing happen to me, just wait for your next side quest to come and you should be able to access the icon. Or you can just do what The Squibbler suggested and contact Jam City.

as expected, you should be, within a few chapters. all the other characters' names on the leaderboard you see are random NPCs (non-player characters). That means they are NOT real-life people. remember, there is NO multi-player aspect to the game as of now so your name will not appear on any other real-life player's devices nor will anyone else's username appear on yours (unless the NPC's name and a real player's username coincidentally happen to match) 😊

if you want the 100 gems reward, i highly recommend you spam as many 8hr lessons as you can! you should be able to do about 3 per day (it doesn't actually take 8hrs anyway) and each 8hr quest gives you 6 points. so doing the math means you can progress to the next year within a week at most! if you dont care about the 100 gems for coming in first place, then go right ahead to the next year. you still get some rewards, you just wont get 100. hope this helps!

They only earn/lose points during the school year. Once you reach the last chapter, and it's time for the feast, they stop

don't worry about the 20 points, it happens to everyone it can't be stopped no matter what you pick. Dumbledore will give you 100 points later.

That probably just means you have completed all your current side quests. Continue on with your story and you'll see them appear once more

if you want the 100 gems reward, i highly recommend you spam as many 8hr lessons as you can! you should be able to do about 3 per day (it doesn't actually take 8hrs anyway) and each 8hr quest gives you 6 points. so doing the math means you can progress to the next year within a week at most! if you dont care about the 100 gems for coming in first place, then go right ahead to the next year. you still get some rewards, you just wont get 100. hope this helps!
