A trick for getting the trait you want is just clearing the camp, make a game save before you open the chest, open the chest, and if you didnt get a trait you wanted load the manual save you made not the autosave and open it again, repeat
Yeah, I forgot to check that but it's a good point - especially since I had to clear about half the map to find the right trait.

Yes also use first mandrakes if you don't go stealth,to break their shields,stunned enemies take more damage from the chomping cabbages I was level 21 or 22 against the acromantula..didn't even cast a spell just drank edurus potion and threw out venomous tentacula and cabbage and it was over for lke 4 seconds
Dude you don't even have to worry about shielded enemies. Just drop two venomous tatacula, with the mastery talent. It makes them do more damage and destroy shields. The damage over time function also adds to a pretty good blender for everything in your general vacinity.
Ive done it several times in my own build that also uses plants, and turned around to see everything that was a threat has disappeared. I.E. dead and turned to mulched compost.
Herbology 3 doesn't just effect the cabages. And mandrakes make a great stun and damage dealer for an 8th of an enemies health in a pinch. Like being rushed by a troll or being outnumbered and pummled. It seems to cast almost instantly. Stunning everything, regardless of size. Add in the mastery for that, and the stun duration is impressive. Its like an off switch. One second their all over you, and the next they are cringing and begging for it to stop. No threat at all.
Never underestimate the plants. 😈Lol

^this. After my dark slytherin playthrough i 100% wana make an OP herb playthrough. Have your RoR just growing all your deadly plants to keep your stocks full. Then, use them in battle to your hearts content
I made a true master of sorceries. Enhanced Expilliarmus in 2 pieces, old magic throw on 1 piece as Well as bombarda in one and 2 Slots for The crying plants. My main bar is: Expilliarmus+ Bombarda and Levioso+ Descendo. Expilliarmus has a synergie with the old magic repell hit and levioso with descendo. Bombarda simply hits hard. When I'm on cooldown i've got the Double boosted plants and i Switch to my second bar, where I have the accio+Incendo+confringo combo. For trolls of course in the third bar Avada Kedavra and for some sweaty situatioms the transforming spell, that Turns enemies into explosive bareels, wich also has a synergie with my enhancements. Every move has some benefit to the next in line. I love it.
It's gonna sound kinda weak but I swear, focus pots + talent, thunderbrew, venom T, destruction slotted into 3 pieces and laceration slotted into the other 3. Those are all the tools you need to kill ANYTHING in the early game. It takes a WHILE to get all 3 of the unforgivables, so you'll need something before then
i like to also add in an impirio curse if there is a troll
Just got back into hogwarts legacy, thought I’d start over, and came across this. You absolutely earned my sub. I was about to buy cyberpunk too, so that next video might be awesome as well!
Fair warning, the Herbology trait was bugged at the time of him making this video. You have 6 gear slots, which means you could add the Herbology 3 trait six times over. And each one multiplied your plant damage by 175%, so almost double. It has since been nerfed and does significantly less damage than that. You're better off using the trait Fangs 3, which only boosts the damage of the Chomping Cabbage instead of all of your plants, but it boosts it more than the now-weaker version of Herbology 3.
My personal favorite build is all 3 of the unforgivable curses with aresto momentum as the fourth. If you upgrade aresto momentum it will also curse your opponents. Same goes for expelliarmus which I like to sub in when fighting globins. Once upgraded that one can also curse your opponent’s and disarm them at the same time.
Funny thing is I was a cabage lord long before I was a dark lord. Got the op plant trait early lol
If you get it early, that's definitely the way to go.
@9:50 you don't have to clear every enemy camp to find the trait you want... You can just clear ONE bandit camp, make a manual save BEFORE you open the chest, and if after you open the chest, you don't get the trait you want, you load the manual save to before you opened the chest, open it the chest again... rinse, wash, repeat until you get the trait you want =)

Get the trolls with imperio then go up to them and spam Petrificus Totalus works like a charm
Instead of whiping the whole camp just make yourself invisible and sneak into the tent and open the chest and move out. Helps me finding finally the Herbology III, one of the last bandit camps😅

You could also use a mandrake to stun everything letting your cabbage chomp away at them without resistance lol and i havent tested it but it says all plants for the herbology iii so maybe mandrake stun lasts longer on top of cabbage damage? Maybe?
Why am I so limited with my cabbages? How come you can throw 3 at a time and hold 11 cabbages. I can only throw one and can only hold 6. A little explanation would be fantastic

It you upgrade venomous tentacula they can bust shields to so you really don’t have to do anything
id say Thunder Brew and getting more ancint magic uses is over powered as hell and having al, ur gear to get more ancint magic and also thunder brew makes i imposible to be attakced from enemys near u becuase it makes thunder around u and make it more potent if u can

Here's an even better build. Combine this with potions so you become a high vegan voldemort. It's unstoppable.
Yeah the Edarus potion talent that makes you invulnerable and bounces back projectiles is mega OP esp when you use mods to extend the duration of potions to 3 mins like I do lol. Between that and everything else you will never die as long as you have that buff continually active

Except for the bits of shredded purple cabbage and carrots that are used as garnish on the top of the more expensive gourmet style salads yeah you're right. It IS a primary ingredient in coleslaw though : )

Well, It is not really OP, because to be called a master of this game you should use all of your 4 sets of spells simultaneously. Only this case you can be a killing machine.

Over powered?? The game is to easy to worry about being over powered lmao. Played through it on normal didnt use a single potion except healing ones and when required for missions. Had to player on hardest difficulty to be challenged at all and i used some of the other potions for final boss fight to make it easy

The most powerful and safest character and build, is a sneaky gardener 😆 invisibility and you throw the cabages 😆 simple as that. Also, realistically you would need to have a type of kill switch on the cabages so they dont keep on killing everything in world.
It would've been more fun if cabbages are for Hufflepuff, dementors like figures for Slytherin, owls for Gryffindor, and biting books for Ravenclaw.

You forget a build. Disillusionment/invisibility, petrificus totalus, and basic cast. While invisible, bait your enemies out with basic cast, then use petrificus totalus. easy way to wipe out a camp.
im a lazy stealth person. I do this. It's much slower but can stealth clear camps easily enough. Except for trolls and bosses. Then you pull out the cabbage. Stealth cabbage.

I like to throw two cabbages, a venomous tentacula, and drink a thunderbrew potion. Then, I just scroll through shorts on my phone until the battle is over, and I'm completely undamaged.

I put down 3 cabbages 2 venomous tentaculas and a storm brew potion and then a mandrake so everyone has to sit there stunned as I chill

The 3 sets of 2 combos he mentions are super useful early-mid. The unforgivable and tier 3 trait builds are mid-late.
The transformation spell is also very fun when you upgrade it…….If you like turning the enemy into exploding barrels you can throw back

Decided to do another playthrough. I love that Hoggies is single player because I can make my weak ass build and not feel bad about it. No sonic the hedgehog. No unforgivables beyond level 1. No transmorg...no changie spell. No potions except wiggin. Yeah, thank god HL isn't multiplayer. I'd be cooked.
You could also use imperious on the troll if you need to kill everyone else first
Please do a tom riddle build, i’m doing one with my next build with the lore accuracy you can do and everything, even the character- your comedy on a lets play or video would be gold 😂
To find my Herbology III and concentration III by using the save and reload method at one Bandit camp.

Curse builds op until you run into anything immune to them then it's suffering lol.
With your favorite instead of the yellow one I use crucio
I find ice+ bleed to be my backup for when curse is not viable lol
This build could be called Kamalas Word Salad, or just Word Salad.
Just do a mandrake root to break the shields and stun and the cabbages will finish the rest!
Now uhhh.. I sleep with a gun.. in my nightstand… next to my pillow. But I can’t say I do or would sleep with a gun under my pillow
You forgot imperio(with manipulation trait) + petrificus totalus (upgraded), that completely annihilates everything on the battlefield (even more so when it’s used on something like a troll or acromantula)
I like to knock enemies off cliffs by using a leviosa/depulso combination. This works especially well with enemies standing on high platforms like the one by Rookwood Castle. That is much more satisfying than using an Unforgivable Curse any day. I do not want the game to get too easy.
just put on all you legendary equipement the trait for more spell dmg and you one hit anything with near any magic dont need you cabbage shit ;p omg last thing i will choose for real what a bad move :) and yes they stack :)

What can you do if you didn’t learn the killing curse? Do you have to reset the whole game ?
If you didn't send Sebastian to Azkhaban you can learn all the curses from him even at the end game. If you did, yes, there's no way to learn them. Ominus ain't telling you.
I use a combination of levioso, depulsi, bombardo and crucio
If it is so overpowered how did you get tossed from left to right like a ragdoll, I got a really overpowered build requires you to master first 3 spell trees as the last 2 is not so important. If you can master first 3 if you cast protego and your enemies say like 3 dark elves charge at you the protection charm will send them back flying with their bodies getting burnt to a crisp in the process.
You mean getting stun-locked in a corner because I wasn't paying attention and was just running around and not even fighting yet still beating a tough camp? Not doing anything and still winning? How can I call that overpowered? Maybe you can figure that one out on your own...

I'll give you my 3 for 1 version of this with a logical progression. Stealth -> Plants -> Dark Magic. This is the logical progression because AK is a super late game spell and dark builds aren't fully realized till you get that. Get to level 16 or so by the time you reach Jack Daw's quest. Get 3/4 of the cloaking skills, your 4-5 basic core skills, 2-3 spell skills, and the cabbage and mandrake skills. By this time you have access to the room of requirements so you can set up your farm. Go to hogsmeade find the treasures and you'll have money in the bank for all your plant pots. At this point you can sneak around and kill most at camps, finish them off with either cabbage if there are multiple waves, mandrake or whatever you want really. Go to a couple camps and get a few Herbology 3's and you're already doing ridiculous damage across your 3 plants. You mostly only need 2 cabbage at a time if that.
This way you don't have to wait till hour 30 to complete the build. Your OP build is there already. Sneak attacks do 240 base damage... That is the same as ancient magic. So you will one shot most things. The only real annoying this is reloading your plant army. Which is why I like to cycle through my mandrakes first before the cabbages and also why I sneak attack.
If you want something more dynamic and find sneaking around to be boring then probably can go more into room of requirement skills and do a thunder / endura build. That way you can also just cycle through thunder / endura / cabbage / mandrakes. And in that case you can probably get the two curses earlier and work with them. I may do that in another play through.
