As usual excellent review of this perfume. I admire that you can talk for 8'45 without stammering, without repeating yourself and being so precise on the description. I think it's the passion and the pleasure of sharing. Already looking forward to the next fragrance.
Jeeze dude... You are so good at finding the words to describe these. This one was challenging for me at first. I liked the way it smelled, but couldnt pick out any individual notes at all from it, or describe what i was smelling... You described it perfectly! I will say that this one may be a little polarizing. Ive been told by 2 people that it smells like triple antibiotic ointment to them, but overall this seems to be one that people like.
Hello Post! Thanks for the review, i see you really like it, it's third time you mention it in a separate video :) usually my nose has very similar reception as yours, but to my nose Al Ameed is dominated by leather accord. It has some fresh and aromatic components, but most i can get is airy, not sweet leather accord. After watching your review it is my SOTD to check my memory, it is indeed not that leathery as i remember it from the first sniff, but still leather dominates. It is warmer today that the other day, I believe it may shine with more fresher notes on spring time. For now i don't get much of mandrin or pineapple, more like leather and some aromatics, probably sage. Still agreed it is very versatile scent, imo suits even formal wearings as leather is that kind of suit and tie accord. Probably ultimate summer night scent (not party scent, more elegant) :)
I agree the presentation of the box & bottle is excellent! All of the fragnotes sounds good to me. From what you said, it sounds like a well balanced fragrance.
Always doing great work. And you've definitely become the middle eastern guy when it comes to fragrances. 9 times out of 10 when I search something now, there you are!
So mine arrived today 20ml, and decided to spray and find a video and see how my nose is doing. Have to say you've pretty much described this spot on, it does move through the layers pretty quick to a nice leathery spicy musk, slightly powdery dry down. I don't think this will last too long, perhaps in the sun, but possibly one of those that you suddenly get a strong whiff as you turn around, will see how it's smelling in the morning. Very pleasant inoffensive scent that will get noticed but similar to a few others I have in the dry down. Perhaps one for the 5ml atomisers I use as the opening is very fresh so one spray every so often could be the way to go when on the move. Cheers.
@@PostCologne have you tried Truly by Rasasi? It's very well priced here atm and good scores, but with not enough info to pull yet another trigger. Cheers.
Same here. None of those fruit notes mentioned can be felt, it's very woody and leather. All the opinions I have got from using it have been bland, the "it doesn't smell bad but it's a fragrance I won't buy" type. A friend of mine who loves all kinds of fragrances described it as smelling like burnt rope, I think that's the best description for it.
Man, those are so good. Both this and Awaan are fantastic, along with Nebras and Wajood. Honestly, niche houses need to take notice and be a little worried/frustrated at Lattafa producing such quality at that price. I love me some niche stuff (heck, I'm an Amouage fanboy) but it's kind of crazy seeing Khamrah winning 2022 awards alongside 300$+ niche fragrances! Go Lattafa!
Awaan I've passed on thinking it would lean a little feminine for me. What are your thoughts? Yeah Lattafa is killin it right now, and Paris Corner is making some moves as well that are promising. Exciting times for sure
@@PostCologne You're actually right, in the sense that it leans feminine but I tend to like florals. I'd say Awaan makes me think of Mancera's Instant Crush but a friend of mine says it reminds her of Coco Mademoiselle but I'm not familiar with that. So definitely in that Baccarat Rouge kind of terrain. Having watched you for a while, I think it might be a little much for you, honestly, haha.
5:10 do tell what were you doing to make your body temperature rise 😏 In all honesty, I gotta take it easy on the sweet fragrances. My wife violates my rights when I wear sexy and seductive sweet fragrances lol.........help.
@@PostCologne lol awesome review as always dude. I purposely wait to watch these in the evenings while enjoying a bowl of lucky charms after a long day's work.

Very accurate Breakdown. I wear it as I watch this and agree with you 100%. I really like this as an everyday fragrance.

@@PostColognehi sir,
What do you think are the best Lattafa Pride perfumes?

Thanks for your opinion of this one. I’ve been curious.
Appreciate it Scentister 👍
@@PostCologne did you catch that there is a new lattafa maahir legacy that just released on fragrancebuy?
@Scentister Deathwish I did see that. Absolutely zero information on it online. Curious for sure. Bookmarked it for a future haul potentially
Reminded me of dylan blue..imo
nice review thanks
Thanks Devin, appreciate it 👍
Hilarious how some people in the comments are suddenly linguistic experts in Arabic dialects. 😂
what u suggest this one or ishq al shoyokh silver ?
If you have to choose only one Winners Trophy Silver or Al Ameed Silver ?
Lattafa usually does a great job with Packaging and presentation.
The fragrances are always good to great.
Totally agree Prep 👍
Thanks.
The cover of the box looks like a copy of Bussma by Arabian Oud imho 😂
Hi mi friend, again you listened to me? If thats the case then i feel honoured haha, ots a great scent.
I do my best to follow through on recommendations Dave :) Always appreciate the input 👍
Alameed is like a dean. But you were close.
Thanks Naim, appreciate the clarification 👍
I didn’t like this one almost want to ship it back lol! Leather is all I get. 😢
