Maybe, maybe more. Odds are way lower that they do. Bur, if they did get both, they would've been an all-time great squad.
The could have drafted Melo, Wade or Bosh. A three peat was possible.

The biggest Pistons "What If "was the potential Kobe for Rip Hamilton trade in 2007/2008. Can you imagine a starting lineup of Chauncey, Tayshaun, Kobe, Rasheed, and Antonio McDyess? Would this have helped Kobe's legacy?

Kobe on any team without Phil Jackson as head coach is a disaster.
It would've likely won Deyroit an extra title or two. But Kobe's legacy with the 2 extra titles in LA means more for him. CP3 trade getting fixed was probably a bigger what if. He could've tied or even surpassed Jordan's ring count.
Rasheed is a team first player On a selfless team oriented Detroit team. Melo was the epitome of narcissistic selfishness. I think he would’ve ruined that team chemistry.
He was a rookie he would’ve learned to play team ball with that team
His teammates, including Chauncey and Rasheed, from that same Detroit squad say otherwise. I'm sure they know better than random fans and haters online.
No way Melo acts out with those guys, one of them would have put paws on him 😂
